"Our stay at TaiHu Hotel was spectacular: the host was incredibly helpful and accommodating to the needs of our group of 7 throughout our stay. "Great customer service! They are very helpful to guests, and it is a unique guesthouse with lots of wood and art. It is right around the corner from the Sun Moon village night market. There are a few resort villages around the lake, but this one is the closest to the cable car that goes to the Aboriginal Culture Park. The cable car is walking distance (and worth the ride), but you can also rent bicycles or electric bicycles very affordably near the hotel and get around easily."

"This was a very cute cat themed B&B. When we were there they had 7 cats! the cats were all very friendly and we did not notice any smells or problems with them. The morning food was delicious. The area is safe but if walking from the bus stop along the main road you'll need to be careful when you have all of your luggage as the street vendors can take up the entire sidewalk and the road can be somewhat busy. The local restaurants close somewhat early so plan on going to dinner by 5 to have more...
