When you book Serenity Skies, you’ll be stepping into a newly renovated home with all the charm of Cape Cod’s sea-faring past and convenience of modern luxury. This home features a main house and two separate apartment-style suites, making it perfectly suited for multi-generational families! Enjoy a coffee on the wrap-around porch, whip up a fabulous breakfast in the newly updated kitchen with brand new appliances, then set out to explore the area!

Serenity Skies is ideally located to explore Hyannis’s main shopping center—a 10-minute drive will bring you to Cape Cod Mall, and a 12-minute drive will take you to Main Street in Hyannis where you can enjoy local shops and great restaurants like Anejo, Brazilian Grill, and Embargo. You can also explore the famed Hyannis Port or Barnstable Village, a quaint Main Street just 2.5 miles away.

Looking to spend your days on the beach? You’re in luck with Serenity Skies, because gorgeous Grays Beach in Yarmouth is just a 6-minute drive away. Splash around in gentle bayside waves, or soak up the sun on the warm white sands. Dennis Pond Beach and Recreation Area is also less than a mile away if you want to discover Cape Cod’s freshwater offerings, hike local trails, and get on the water in a kayak or canoe.

After a day out, return to our comfortable home. Relax in one of two living areas, a parlor at the front of the home or living room with Smart TV in the back of the main home. Three bedrooms are on the second story of the main house. You will find two queen bedrooms, one with an en-suite bath, and one bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a 3/4 bath on the second floor. The fourth bedroom in the main house is located toward the back of the home near the living room with TV. It is a lofted queen bedroom with its own private entrance. The apartment-style suites behind the main house also have their own queen beds, kitchenettes, and dining areas with 3/4 baths.

Serenity Skies has a great patio area, spacious front porch, and large lawn to enjoy with your family and up to two dogs. Stay cool inside with central AC in the main house and mini-split ACs in the suites. Whether you choose to stay in and enjoy the splendors of the home or venture out for full days of exploring the area, swimming, and shopping, Serenity Skies is the perfect home base for your family vacation!

Beautiful and comfortable home with a couple of snags.

The house is a perfect mix of old cape charm with new finishes. However, there were two big drawbacks for us. First the air conditioning was an issue. It was impressive that a house this old had central air but some exception with the king room- it barely reached the other rooms on the second floor and they got very warm. The other issue was the fact that it is listed as 6 min from the beach. Technically that is true, the house is 6 mins from Gray’s beach but it is NOT a beach for swimming. It has a beautiful boardwalk and the view for sunsets is amazing and there is something of a beach but you would not want to swim there- very muddy and lots of shells and stones. Closest real beach is Mayflower and that parking lot tended to get filled by 9:30. Corporation Beach in West Dennis is pretty small as well. If you’re willing to do the drive Crosby landing beach is gorgeous with lots to parking ( additional parking at a historic mansion just up the street from the beach). It took about 25-30mins to get to but so worth it! Getting back to the house-the kitchen is beautiful and well appointed, comfortable family areas and lots of spots for dinning. Bathrooms were good but somewere older than others. Beds were good except the basement apartment mattress. Upper apartment was very comfortable but had an older bathroom. A Very close walk to a great coffee shop (The Light House Keeper) and some other little gift shops and restaurants. Close drive for a number of other attractions.

Great spot on Cape Cod!

Our large family stayed comfortably while vacationing on the Cape. There was plenty of room for everyone, as well as multiple vehicles and bicycles. Easy driving to nearby beaches and great little towns. We had a great time!

Decent historical home

The place was not bad. The two separate rooms are old and musty and difficult to live in. The main house was fine. Bring some pain medicine for your backs as the beds mattresses haven't been changed since the 70s. The outdoors area was great. Overall a decent place to stay.

Great Stay at Serenity Skies

We’re just home from our week’s stay on Cape Cod at “Serenity Skies” or 101 Main St. in Yarmouth Port, MA. This house worked perfectly for our family! We were 8 adults and two toddlers. The downstairs in the main house had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is spacious and the best stocked kitchen of any rental house we have rented. There was even a lobster pot and the tools for eating them, a Cape Cod essential! The kitchen had a table for 4 or 5, if needed, but we could also seat everyone in the dining room. The bedrooms were comfortable, although some of us prefer firmer mattresses. We were able to spread out, with two couples in the 2 apartments and the 2 families with toddlers in the upstairs bedrooms, so noise was never an issue. There was also a spacious back patio with lots of comfortable seating, recently refurbished I think, and a yard for the kids to run around. We loved having morning coffee on the front porch! It was a short drive to many beaches. The management company was readily available and responsive to our inquiries. If you love old houses (but enjoy modern amenities), this house will work for you.

Great house for family get together

The house was perfect for our multigenerational get together over Thanksgiving. Large, well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. Most rooms had their own bathroom which was a plus when staying with extended family.

Family Graduation Celebration

Large property perfect for family of 10. 2 separate suites with own bathrooms in addition to 4 bedrooms in the main house worked perfectly. Great location. House is older - heat didn’t work in lower suite and toilet didn’t work in master bedroom. Otherwise lovely stay and recommend.

A Perfect Long Weekend

Our family of 11 has been coming to Yarmouth for six of the last seven years to attend a memorial celebration of a close friend. This home was the cleanest, best equipped choice for everyone from 2-75 yrs. The spacious yards and two separate, but close, apts. were great for toddlers, and all within walking distance of our event. DEMAR staff is the best-Thanks to all of you!

House is situated well in the area and was large enough for our family. We did have some issues with the overall cleanliness (mostly the mildewy smell in the downstairs apartment) that prevented a top rating.

Excellent Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the the Captain's Home! Our large multigenerational family had plenty of space to rest and relax as well as gathering together for meals and visiting. The kitchen and dining area was spacious, bright and well equipped which, with small children in tow, is where we prepared and enjoyed most of our meals. The location was perfect, close enough to various beaches and attractions and everything we love about the cape! The management was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
