Just a few steps to the beach, OurSandCastle is a spacious and comfortable home where you will enjoy fabulous ocean views, spectacular sunsets, and shared private access to seven miles of sandy beach. When you first enter OurSandCaslte, you will be greeted with a wall of windows that will entice you outside onto the deck. You will be enchanted with the ever-changing sights and sounds, as you feel the fresh ocean breezes on your face and savor the refreshing salt air!

Inside this gorgeous, contemporary house, all the luxuries of home are waiting for you. It is finely appointed with maple cabinets, granite countertops, bamboo flooring, free WIFI, washer and dryer. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bath with a jetted tub large enough for two! Three more bedrooms and two baths down the hall will make your stay delightful and relaxing. Downstairs is another complete apartment with bedroom, bath and kitchen to add extra room and privacy. OurSandCastle is set back 120 feet from the beach and was designed to maximize the fabulous views by locating the entire living area on the upper floor of this two-story dwelling. Downstairs there is a two-car garage for your use where you will find a ping-pong table for indoor fun and beach chairs and other items to make your time on the beach more comfortable. Dogs are only welcome in the downstairs apartment and garage of OurSandCastle and will love to frolic at the beach.

There is a private trail that leads to a sturdy set of stairs that will take you down to a 7-mile stretch of flat sandy beach, perfect for a day in the sun, reading your book, hunting for shells, stretching your legs, or just contemplating nature at its finest. Don't forget to bring your hiking shoes because Yachats, Oregon is surrounded by spectacular hiking. Just a short drive south you will find Cape Perpetua, the highest point on the Oregon coast. Further south from here is Heceta Head Lighthouse, where you can tour an original lighthouse from 1894. The Oregon coast is known for its beautiful scenery and activities, and OurSandCastle puts you in the heart of it all.

The only issue was the the dishwasher was broken. It seemed like the rental company knew this even before we checked in because they told me that it needed to be replaced without looking at it. We loaded it up with dishes, not knowing that it was broken; The rental company told me that the cleaners could wash the dishes for us, so there is that.

Everything was green except the dishwasher didn’t work, there were dirty dishes in the cupboards and we had to wash all dishes by hand to clean. The clothes dryer also only worked for one load. Not sure if they were used errors in use, or if there is actually something wrong. The dishwasher definitely needs attention.

This is a great location as you can see the ocean from the kitchen, great room and dining area. Unfortunately, only a few of the windows open and fewer have screens so you can only take advantage of the cool ocean breeze and sounds of the waves from a some of the rooms. We were a party of seven and found the home to have plenty of room. The house was stocked well. The rental had normal wear and tear. The sofas and chairs were ready to be replaced (sink when you sit), but everyone found their beds to be comfortable.

Yachats beach house

Our stay at the Yachats beach Ouse was great! Lots of room for everyone to be together. The view was amazing and the beach was just steps away. The home was clean and comfortable, stocked with the basics. The town of Yachts was more than a quick walk for coffee but only a 5 min. drive. I would recommend a stay at the Yachats beach house!

Comfortable spacious home conveniently located just a few miles North of Yachats. Great separation of space with a separate apartment downstairs. The beach walk is easily accessible down a flight of I sturdy stairs!

Wild Waves

Overall our stay was great. Had a few small issues but it’s a place many people stay. Leak in master shower hand held attachment just needs to be tightened. Nice view of the ocean upstairs. Furniture is not comfortable for older people it sinks to low and you can’t get out. Worst thing was checking in our code would work and management had to come let us in. Our family really enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much.

Family trip

Nice house. We saw whale spouts from front window. All bedrooms were very nice except one which had no ceiling fan and just looked sad. The recycle bin was overflowing when we arrived. We have said at quite a few Vrbo properties and this was the least stocked with extras ie: only salt& pepper/NO dishwasher pods/foil/oil/pens. Wasn’t expecting another house in front of this BUT we still had a view from upstairs. Beach was down 20 stairs and very expansive. Overall good stay.

This house was perfect for my family’s annual Oregon Coast trip. The location was amazing because it was right on the beach. The house had everything we needed to cook each of our meals for everyone. The house was a little dusty and the floors could use a more thorough mopping, but otherwise a very comfortable stay. Definitely would come back to this spot.

Total Gem on the Oregon Coast!

My family had the best time staying at this home. We were hoping for a tranquil getaway on the beach and we definitely had it here! The house was even nicer and more spacious than the photos. It really had everything you would need to be comfortable. We grilled and cooked in several times and the kitchen was well stocked. The deck was a nice warm place to sit in the afternoon and to see the sunset. We did wish there were comfortable chairs out there, but we brought up beach chairs to use and that was fine. Because it’s so easy to access the beach (steep stairs FYI) we walked there for the sunsets most evenings. We absolutely loved this house and would rent here again for sure.

Great location

Loved the views. Nice space. Negatives. Surprised the house was second floor and having to do full flight of stairs was Rey difficult for some of us. Sofas, chairs, etc in living room were very low and very difficult to get up once seated. Had to sit on kitchen/table chairs most of the time. Couldn’t find and light switch for living room ceiling fan and light.
