  • Thorpe es una casa costera independiente, contemporánea, de 5 dormitorios con impresionantes vistas al mar y a pocos pasos de la playa y la ciudad. La casa de esta década de 1930 fue ampliamente modernizada en 2008 (como aparece en el programa BBC1 Homes) para proporcionar alojamiento de lujo en todo momento. Una bañera de hidromasaje hundida en la terraza delantera disfruta de las mejores vistas de la playa de Woolacombe. Thorpe es una casa familiar, mantenida a un alto nivel en todo momento. Disfrutamos de fabulosas reseñas de huéspedes que son realmente importantes para nosotros.
    Ahora ofrecemos reservas más cortas por 3 días o más fuera de las vacaciones escolares.

What an amazing stay we had at Thorpe. The house is better than the amazing photos suggest, We wanted for nothing and are all missing the place terribly. We will absolutely be returning!!

What a view!

Wonderful stay at this gorgeous property with a group of 8 friends. Incredible views over the beach and very thoughtfully laid out home. Will definitely be back!

We went with a group of eight friends, what a beautiful house, the photos don’t do it justice, we could have sat and looked at the view all day, breathtaking ❤️ we didn’t want to leave.

Wonderful stay at Thorpe

Stunning views of Woolacombe beach. Although the garden doesn’t back directly onto the beach, there is a cut-through with some steps which takes you to the sand on no time. A beautiful property and the hot tub is a real bonus!

Simply perfect

8 Mums escaping from husbands and kids for a weekend, and we couldnt have stayed in a more perfect home. It's so close to the beach, it was great to be able to go for a sea swim, followed by an outdoor shower and then in to the hot tub. The beds were all comfy, the entire house was clean and the layout so thoughtfully planned. Already considering it for our weekend next year!

A wonderful visit

We cannot say enough about this property! It is the third time we have stayed. The location is ideal. The accommodation is fabulous, in all ways. The house owners really look after Thorpe and it shows, immensely. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing

Pictures don’t do it justice. Very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed, perfect for our two families. Owners were very good to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Great place for winter weekend by the sea

Excellent property which was very well appointed with great views overlooking the bay and the sea. The bedrooms and bathrooms were amazing and the ground floor accommodation worked for us as a group of four couples away for winter weekend. We catered for ourselves and it was fab having a kitchen with everything that we needed. Would thoroughly recommend

Just back from a wonderful stay at Thorpe. Thanks-you! Have stayed in many rentals worldwide - but staying here has been next-level world-class. It's clear that so much love has gone into creating this family home that has a cosy feel with so many considered premium homely touches - and Chris has been incredibly helpful throughout. If you're looking for a rental - don't hesitate to book - you don't want to lose out! The location, views, feel of the spacious home and many amenities and facilities have made it a wonderful stay. Amazing!

From the minute we pulled up outside the property there were words like "amazing"..."wow"..."fabulous". We were a family of 9 and the property met everyone's expectations (and more). The view was awesome, and waking up to that every day was a highlight. The house layout is outstanding, plenty of space for everyone, with all the amenities you could ask for. The juke box was a brilliant add and was very much enjoyed by us all. We were all very sad to leave.

Fabulous house in a stunning location

Thorpe is a large light house with an uninterrupted view of Woolacombe Beach. It is extremely well appointed but is very much a family home. Three of the bedrooms have stunning views. We were a party of 8 with 2 extra guests for a couple of nights and the house accommodated well. We cooked in a few nights and found the kitchen had every convenience. We used the hot tub which was ready to go and clean as was the BBQ. The hosts were generous sharing their own belongings including beach gear and record collection. All in all a brilliant stay we would rent this house again.

Birthday celebration weekend

Wow! What an amazing find! Great location, beautifully decorated and a very well equipped kitchen. We booked this house for a 50th birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. Everything was in perfect condition and the house was spotless on our arrival. The welcome basket was a kind gesture, stacked full of goodies. A big house with a relaxed cosy feel. Thank you for your prompt response when messaging. Would definitely recommend 100% 😊

Fantastic holiday and accommodation

We had a fabulous time at Thorpe. It was a great location. The accommodation was lovely, clean and with everything one could need. The only minor thing was the recycling and bins. It was very confusing. We put the black bin out on Thursday morning. Lucky we did as they emptied it Thursday lunchtime rather than the Friday which it said in the kitchen although I then subsequently noticed it was listed as Thursday in the accommodation book.

Excellent 10+

Wow. House, view, beds, terrace, view, kitchen, atmosphere, view and view and view. And everything. Photo's exactly how it is. You can rent luxury and comfort, this is just that and atmosphere. We felt at home instantly and more. And the view ooohhhhh ;-). We could check in early and check out late - no prob. So go here, buy a Pinot Grizio Rose Italia in de local supermarket, sit down and look, drink, watch and enjoy. Our lady friend gave her stay a 10+. Thank you Liz and Chris
