My family loves Northwoods Tuckaway. It’s a quiet, relaxing place not far from town. Kayaks, fishing boats, a swingset, fire ring, and a game room make this property perfect for a week away together.

A beautiful place to stay with lots of wildlife and water toys. The lake is small but beautiful. Look it up ahead of time (Little Bass Lake) so you know the size. Heads up: expectations for cleaning before you leave are larger than most places we’ve stayed, especially for a 9 am check out, so expect that (vacuum all the floors, swiffer mop the floors, and general “clean”). A great stay and a receptive host!

Great cabin in the area. The place is a great value with plenty of space and a bunch of outside activities to keep the kids busy. Reminds me of the cabin we stayed in when I was young, but really close to town. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely and Tranquil

Perfect location for a peaceful family getaway. The home was large and had everything we could need, yet close enough to town that we could make a quick run to the store. The water was calm and we appreciated the paddleboard, and Kayaks that were made available. We have already booked a return trip for next summer.

Great Getaway

Our week at the Northwoods TUCKAWAY was terrific! Great location to easily access restaurants or shopping, while offering a quiet escape for the family. The lake is small but perfect. We loved the kayaks, paddle boat, and swimming to the raft. We also enjoyed nightly lakeside campfires. Thanks for a great week!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful lake home with our adult children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space for the ten of us. We enjoyed using the paddle board, kayaks and rowboat. The grandkids had fun swimming out to the raft and jumping off over and over again! The lake is beautiful and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Every day we saw numerous deer and loved seeing the fawns with their mothers. We look forward to returning and have already booked a week for summer 2026. Thank you for opening up your lovely home for others to enjoy!
