"The apartment is not situated in the area indicated on the map but in a completely different area. Apartment not clean when we arrived and we had to ask for clean bedclothes which was delivered. Keys are picked up at train station which was not very convenient. The house itself very comfortable and in a nice area. "

"This is a straightforward hotel in a nice quiet street a short walk from the centre of town. We could park close to the building both days we were there. On the day we arrived the manager took care of us nicely, as we were rather early. "

However the establishment is not too far from nearby cities that had amble dining options, but missing out on the roast experience was definitely regrettable. Unfortunately voices were audible through the walls on one side of the room as were music and footsteps from the dinng area below but otherwise I was satisfield with the accommodation. Having an on-site restaurant was a handy option for the first night although I did venture out on my second evening for tea at a local restaurant. "The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. I stayed in the bar area to eat, as I'd just had a spa afternoon and knew a dining room would be too hot for me - I found a table next to an open window! A little pricing, but in keeping with the whole place overall. The spa was very warm, as I expect it should be, but a little warm for me as it was a hot day anyway - I'll have to return in winter! Staff were friendly and efficient!"

"You can’t beat the location for the price that we paid! That being said there is no AC, just a fan so it will be hot in the summer. Also we faced the back and the bar behind us was loud until at least 2300, 2/3 nights we stayed as we needed the window open for the breeze. Staff were all friendly and lovely and you can walk to anything you need in Harrogate."
