Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. "The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel could do with some TLC. Last stayed in a lovely quirky room, latest stay was disappointing as the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment. Rooms are clean and comfortable just a little tired looking."
