"To start with was easy parking and when entering the hotel was greeted with lovely smiley staff. It was lovely and quiet and very chilled not to busy lobby. We was showed to our room and explained what was what. Was nice ,clean and simple. The area is very quiet so sleeping was lovely, the bed was very comfortable but personally I prefer harder pillows ( but just bring one if need be ) surrounding area was clean very spacious. Was overall a great stay and would def come again . "

"Amazing! I have stayed before in the pub but this time I was given the “cob”. A lovely annex out the back - absolutely beautiful and amazing value for money. Attentive service. Great outdoor space with a pizza oven. Will be going back soon for sure. "

"We had an excellent experience in this hotel. It was the first time we visited this hotel. Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. "

"Amazing attention to detail from start to finish, complimentary drink on arrival, show to room and all particulars explained, great facilities in room including home baked cookies in a jar! Lovely decor throughout and very convenient location. Highly recommended "

"My wife and I stayed for 1 night during our week off for our anniversary. Lovely staff, romantic 4 poster room in a 400 year old building that is kept very well. Everything very clean, small (cute) bar with a good selection of Hawkstone ale and cider. We shared a pizza which was really good, probably one of the best ive had actually and enjoyed drinks in the courtyard garden in the sun. Would definitely stay again!"

"Where do we start? Fabulous. We were very impressed with the staff. Alina was professional, polite and could not do enough to ensure our stay was what we had wanted and expected. When we arrived (during one of the hottest days this year) the fan in our room did not seem to work. We went down to report the issue at 5pm then never thought anymore as we went for dinner. Upon our return a beautiful, brand new, large fan was waiting. They had rushed out and managed to find one, which was amazing. ...

"We stayed at the Lamb Inn, Great Rissington for two nights, we had a very nice stay, the staff were particularly nice and helpful. We had a very good meal, the landlord and chef being Michelin star trained. Thankyou "
