"This property has had a bad reputation in the past, but it has now been renovated. The king bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean but sloppy caulking in the bathroom makes the floor around the toilet look dirty but it is not dirty. The shower was fine with a good shower head ..."

"What a great little place to just relax. Easy check-in and out. We met the property owners who were friendly and hospitable. We were able to relax for a couple of days without the hustle and bustle of the “popular spots” over a holiday weekend. Thank you for sharing Tranquil Villa!!"

"The stay next to the Chowan River was really pretty. The house was nice anx perfect for our visiting friends. I would like to add, the sliding door is really hard to open and close and could be lubricated for easier use. Thank you."
