Located directly on Lake Winter in Winter, Wisconsin, this four-bedroom lake home sleeps up to 8 guests and combines a private dock, year-round hot tub, direct access to the Tuscobia State Trail, and plenty of room for the whole family—including the dogs!


Whether you're coming to spend summer days on the lake, ride hundreds of miles of ATV trails, chase muskies and walleyes, enjoy Wisconsin's fall colors, or snowmobile right from the property, Winter Lakeside Lodge is a great four-season getaway.

After a day exploring Lake Winter, you pull the kayaks back onto shore while the kids cast a few more lines from the dock. Fire up the grill, grab your favorite drink and relax on the wrap-around deck before heading down to the fire pit for s'mores. When the stars come out, finish the evening soaking in the private hot tub just steps from the lake.


That's a pretty good day in the Northwoods.


The Home


Winter Lakeside Lodge has an interesting history. The property was once one of the original cabins on Lake Winter and has since been expanded and updated into a spacious three-story lake home while maintaining its Northwoods character.


Inside, there's plenty of space for a family or small group to spread out.


The main living room features a large sectional with seating for the group and a 55-inch Smart TV with Roku. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, so you can stream your favorite shows, stay connected, or sneak in a little work with a much better view than the office.


The dining room has a large table with seating for 8, making it a great gathering place for family dinners, cards and games after a day outside.


Central air conditioning and heat keep the home comfortable throughout Wisconsin's four very different seasons.


The Kitchen


The kitchen is stocked with the essentials you'll need to prepare and serve meals during your stay, including a gas cooktop, oven, electric hot plate, microwave and dishwasher.


You'll also find a Keurig Duo, blender, hand mixer, dishes, cookware and kitchen utensils.


Grab some steaks in town, cook up the fish you caught that afternoon, or make a big Northwoods breakfast before heading out on the trails.

Lake Winter


The backyard leads directly to Lake Winter, also known as the Price Flowage.


The lower-level walkout puts you approximately 20 feet from the lake and private dock, making it easy to head down to the water for fishing, kayaking or an afternoon on the lake.


During the summer months, the rental includes complimentary use of:

1 stand-up paddleboard
Private dock



Lake Winter is approximately 733 acres with a maximum depth of about 22 feet. Anglers will find a variety of fish including musky, walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and panfish.


Bring the fishing rods and see what's biting!


Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Swimming and use of the waterfront are at your own risk, and diving from the dock is not permitted.


Year-Round Private Hot Tub


One of our favorite features at Winter Lakeside Lodge is the private outdoor hot tub, available year-round.


After a chilly fall day in the woods or a long winter ride on the snowmobile trails, there's nothing quite like climbing into a hot tub under the Northwoods sky.


The hot tub accommodates approximately 5 adults and is located outside the lower-level walkout, just steps from the lake.


ATV & Snowmobile Trail Access


If you're coming to northern Wisconsin to ride, Winter Lakeside Lodge makes a great base camp.


The property offers access to the Tuscobia State Trail, opening up opportunities to explore the area's extensive ATV/UTV and snowmobile trail systems.


Ride during the day, come home for dinner, and finish the night in the hot tub.


There's also ample outdoor parking for vehicles and trailers. Please note that indoor/garage parking is not available.


Outdoor Living


One of the best parts of a Northwoods vacation is simply spending time outside.


Winter Lakeside Lodge features a wrap-around deck with outdoor dining for six, a propane grill, private dock and a fire pit area with additional seating.


It's a great setup for morning coffee, grilling dinner, watching activity on the lake or sitting around the fire after dark.


There is a flight of stairs from the rear deck down to the yard and waterfront. Guests can also reach the yard and lake directly through the lower-level walkout without using those stairs.


Dog Friendly


We know a Northwoods vacation is even better when the dogs get to come along.


Winter Lakeside Lodge welcomes up to two dogs, up to 65 lbs. each, with prior approval and the applicable pet fee.


There is a small fenced area off the side of the home for pets.


Dogs must be supervised while at the property and crated when left alone. Please keep dogs from roaming onto neighboring properties and, of course, pick up after them.


If your dog thinks barking is a competitive sport, enjoys chewing furniture, or considers the neighbor's yard part of its personal kingdom, this probably isn't the best vacation home for them.


Well-behaved four-legged family members are welcome!


A Few Things to Bring


We provide bedding, kitchen accessories, hand soap, dishwasher soap and propane for the grill.


Guests should plan to bring their own:



Bath towels, hand towels and washcloths
Beach towels
Shampoo, body wash and other personal toiletries
Laundry detergent and dryer sheets if you plan to use the washer and dryer
Firewood and fire-starting supplies
Life jackets appropriate for your group
Fishing equipment and favorite outdoor gear



The home has a standard-size washer and dryer for guest use.


Good to Know


Winter Lakeside Lodge is located in a residential lake neighborhood and is intended for family vacations and small groups of friends. It is not a party house.


The primary renter must be at least 25 years old.


Please respect the home, lake and neighbors so we can continue sharing this special property with guests for years to come.


No tents or RV camping are permitted on the property.
