  • Welcome to Barefoot Beach!
    We went to look at this lot by boat in 2021, and when we beached our pontoon, our youngest son caught his first fish! Of course, we had to buy the lot!
    Then, we built the house where we would create many more memories fishing and exploring our own shoreline. Hence the name, Barefoot Beach. (I do however recommend water shoes because you just never know, we did clean the beach during low pool but you never know.)
    While we are not there, we would love to share our awesome lake home with friends and guests.
    The master bedroom has a king bed with TV and its own private full bathroom including a soaking tub and walk-in closet.
    Upstairs, we have 2 bedrooms that share a full bathroom and each bedroom has a queen bed in it along with large windows for the perfect lake view between the trees, and a TV.
    Also upstairs, a bedroom with Twin XL bunk beds, and a Twin XL bed for a total of 3 beds in our flamingo green pink theme room.
    Then, in the large bonus room (5th bedroom with a door) there are 4 Full beds, a Twin daybed and Twin trundle, with a large TV. This room is perfect for 5 or 6 adults or up to 10 children.
    The living room has a TV as well.

    All TV's are Smart Tv's perfect for streaming as you please.
    There is a large rear deck with seating, dining, and a propane grill.

    The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, plates, silverware, and utensils. There is a regular drip coffee maker and French Press. The island seats 3 and the dining area table seats 6 and the exterior dining table seats 8.

    Have fun with the whole family at this dreamy lake house conveniently located in Winchester, TN. Close enough to walk to the private boat ramp. Come enjoy all that Tim's Ford Lake has to offer- including the closest marina- Twin Creeks marina, Jack Daniel's Distillery, Tim's Ford State Park, Sewanee, golf courses, and more!

    Closest boat ramp- at the entrance of our street on Luttrell. Walking distance. 2 min walk.

    You can keep a boat at the docks.

    Built by Legacy Lake Homes, this custom designer home is a wonderful getaway! Enjoy your own private lake access and fishing hole.

    Starter supply of household supplies (toilet paper, paper towel roll, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags) included with mini shampoos, conditioners, and bar soaps.

    Please bring your own fire wood for the fire pit and lake towels for your stay. We ask that you do not use the white bathroom towels at the lake and to follow lake rules- no glass bottles at the lake (Barefoot Beach, remember?) Also don’t forget the coffee grounds for the coffee maker!

This is a beautiful home with a big kitchen and large open plan for visiting and eating. Our favorite spot was a large screened in porch with beautiful trees and a gentle walk to the lake. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to my texts. We would definitely rent this house again.

We had a great time staying here for our family reunion the kids and adults loved the lake swimming and fishing and the kids actually had a blast playing games outside instead of staying in the house on their phones and tv

This property is even more beautiful than the pictures show on line. It has very easy access to the lake with 2 very nice docks. We had our annual family reunion hosting 11 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room in common areas and bedrooms. The large open kitchen had everything you need but your food. If you’re new to Winchester TN, restaurants and stores are close by. The screened in back porch is awesome. At night there is a nice fire pit plus outside string lights making it so cozy. I would highly recommend this home. Our family wanted to stay longer.

We stayed at this property for four nights (June 10–14) and had a wonderful experience. The host was extremely responsive and made the entire process easy. The house was spotless, very welcoming, and exactly as described.Our favorite spot was the screened-in back porch, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. The open floor plan made it easy to socialize with friends and family, and everyone appreciated how comfortable and spacious the home felt.The huge driveway and access to the garage were an added bonus and made parking and unloading very convenient. The lake access was outstanding, and the dock made it easy to tie up our boat and load and unload passengers and gear throughout our stay. It was the perfect setup for enjoying time on the water.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended!

The house and location was amazing. Our host was especially nice and very quick in responding to my messages to her. The house and grounds were beautiful and very comfortable. The views of the lake from the back covered deck were simply grand and yet relaxing. My group have stayed at a variety of vrbo locations over the past few years and they all said, ‘wow, you really hit it out of the ballpark this time’, meaning they were most impressed with my selection of this vacation rental.

Perfect lake house

Our family stayed here for a week for my mother's 70th birthday and everyone had an amazing time. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean, we loved evenings on the back deck, and the lake was great! The location can't be beat. Also, communication with the host was a breeze. We can't wait to go back!

Great place would stay again

Stay was wonderful the only thing that we made work was we had 2 boats and 2 jet skis the pier is not that big but we knew it was just a pier. Thanks again for the use of your beautiful home

Perfect lake house!

This house is amazing! It is perfect for a family with enough space to spread out. Short walk down to the water which is shallow enough that our littles could stand and play. The house is immaculate, so well decorated and has everything you need. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and Comfortable Stay

We stayed here for a staff retreat and comfortably had 10 people stay. It's spacious, beautiful, and clean, and the layout is awesome. There's a grocery store nearby for quick runs and close to pickleball courts and hiking. It's right on the lake with an awesome back yard and deck to make mornings and evenings extra great.

July 4th Lake Escape

We had 10 adults and 2 babies for our Lake Escape. The kitchen was beautiful and very functional. We really enjoyed all the counter space and island for prepping the meals. We were happy to find an extra small fridge in the garage for extra food storage. All amenities were exactly as described.

Great rental!

This property is fantastic! Much better than the photos! Kitchen is well stocked and beds comfy. We spent most our time on the oversized back porch, perfect shady spot during a hot day or to play games on during a rainstorm. We will def be back!

Amazing Lake Home

I grew up in Winchester, and my parent live on the lake. I have stayed in many properties on the lake, and this is by far the best! This custom home is well built and designed to accommodate multiple guests. It is very comfortable with beautiful decor and appliances. I will definitely be back!!! The communication and check in was seamless.

Fall Break Getaway

This was a beautiful house with all of the amenities we could possibly need. There was so much room to spread out and we loved the outdoor fire pit and being able to walk down to the lake. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the downstairs was very large and open with lots of room for 2 teenagers, a seven year old and 5 adults to spread out and have different activities going on at the same time. My grandchildren are already asking when we can go back!

We had a ladies “Reading Retreat” and had a great time! We loved the house and our group wants to come back again. Everything was thought about from having a lighter for the grill/fire-pit to fresh flowers upon arrival. The ladies even told their husbands and now a guys trip is being planned for the same location. The only ‘issue’ we had was not enough trash bags. We planned all disposable containers for meals so we didn’t have to spend time cleaning. That just meant more trash than usual. But, we made it work and next time we’ll just ask ahead of time.
