Q: Do you provide firewood for the fire pit? A: We do not provide firewood, but you can easily pick up a bundle at the local HEB or Ace hardware in town. Q: Is the pool heated?: A: Pool heating is available for $350 to have the pool warmed to temperature by check-in. Many guests choose to heat it for the first 24 hours, as the water typically stays warm enough to enjoy afterward. Because the heater runs on propane, continuous heating throughout your stay will incur additional charges. Advance notice is required. Q: Are pets allowed? Yes, a maximum of 2 dogs only with prior notification and fee required. Q: Does the home have Air Conditioning (AC) and heat? A: Yes. Q: What is the cancellation policy? ―THINGS TO KNOW - Please read before you book― Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. You will receive a code for keyless check 2 days before your arrival. We are only able to offer an early check in if there is not a booking before yours as it takes time for our cleaners to prepare and restock the home for each stay. For this reason, we are also not able to offer a late check out when we have guests checking in the same day.
GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT: We kindly ask all guests to sign a separate rental agreement after booking. This helps us protect both you and our property, making sure everything is in order for your stay. As we rely on well and septic systems, we gently remind guests to be mindful when using sinks and bathrooms. For those not accustomed to well water, you might occasionally notice a sulfur scent. Rest assured, this is completely harmless, and our installed filters and water softeners are designed to minimize any odors, although a hint of it may still linger at times.
MAX OCCUPANCY: Due to our home's reliance on well and septic systems, we must strictly adhere to a maximum occupancy of 10 overnight guests.
CRITTERS: Our house is in the beautiful Texas countryside, and like many homeowners around here, we have regular pest control to keep critters and bugs at bay. However, every now and then, a few might sneak in. It's pretty rare, but we just wanted to give you a heads-up that it's part of country living!
INSURANCE: Given the unpredictable nature of our world, we strongly suggest considering travel insurance to safeguard against any unexpected events. We stayed four nights and enjoyed the property.
One of the two full baths had a clogged tub. This was a bit of an inconvenience having only one shower/tub working.
A text was sent and a response was received however, it was never fixed.
Out of the four bedrooms only one small bedroom had a closet with no hangers. We were there for graduation and we needed the hanging space.
