We checked in to the property and got a room key, went to the room and it was locked from the inside. Clearly occupied by another guest and wreaked of weed. We got another room and there were cockroaches and also smelled of weed and cigarettes. Absolutely disgusting. We went back to the front desk to check out and go elsewhere but after several attempts to get ahold of the front desk and nobody coming back to the window we had to leave and move on to the next. Mind you it’s already 11:30pm

The pictures are very deceiving. It was not what it looked like in the pictures at all. There were homeless sitting right outside the hotel. There were people who looked like they were staying there long term with the amount of stuff in the room. It felt unsafe and sketchy with the amount of people constantly passing by your room for no reason.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place was absolutely the worst motel I have every stayed at. The bed felt like there was sand in it. The bath room shower curtain smelled horrible. The toilet wasn't clean. We had to ask for more towels because the maid never came by the 3 days we were there. The guy up front refused to give us new towels until we brought him our old ones. The day of check out we were getting ready to leave and the guy walked into our room before 11 , which was the checkout time, I was changing clothes when he opened the door. He then proceeded to tell us we needed to "hurry up". I have never stayed anywhere as awful as this place. Do not stay here. Also, it was in a horrible area.

completely false advertising. The room smelled like cigarettes and and the cabinet doors were broken falling off. there were stains all over the walls, floors and window. people outside of her room are smoking, weed and screaming at each other. we ended up not even staying the night and just left without even getting a refund because it was that bad. would never ever recommend staying here.

Front desk staff was pleasant but the room was dirty, had a patched hole in the wall, bathroom tub had rust/mold. When leaving the one morning asked for the room to be cleaned, when I arrived back later that day nothing was done. Will never stay there again. Would have left but had minimal selections for the time I needed.

I booked a one-night stay at Baymont by Wyndham Wilmington through Expedia while in town for a concert, and the experience was appalling. I received a check-in reminder confirming my reservation, but when I arrived, I was told my room had been canceled, even though I never canceled it. There was no email, no phone call, no notice of any kind. What made the situation worse was the staff’s complete lack of care or concern. They showed no empathy, made no effort to help, and left me with no place to stay for the night. I was essentially told “too bad” and dismissed. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I strongly advise against booking here, your reservation could be canceled without reason or warning, and you’ll be left on your own without so much as an apology.

My room smelled like cigarette butts. The plastic was left on the mattress - and made noise every time I moved. When I arrived, about 9 pm, I did not feel safe seeing some of the people that were walking about the parking lot.

First room was filthy and microwave was full of rust. Second room had a lot of water on the floor and second day was without power for over 7 hours. Day of check out a "friend", not an employee, knocked on our door before 11 am telling us we had to leave right then or we would be charged a late fee and another day. When asked if he was a manager is got very rude. Went to front desk to checkout and the lady there only said okay have a nice day after we told her what had just happened. When he knocked on our door we were literally about to walk out anyway. Will never go back again.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a delightful boutique type inn! Rooms are split between 2 buildings, which makes the number seem smaller and more intimate, and keeps noise to a bare minimum. The AC was a top caliber unit, and even had separate buttons for fan speed and temperature! The sink was conveniently located in the main room, with just the toilet and tub/shower behind a door. How nice to be able to brush your teeth at the same time your partner is just 3 feet away taking a dump! The refrigerator was the perfect size to keep a 6-pack of Bud Light cold and a couple of meat loaf entrees frozen. We were able to use it and also the furnished microwave to enjoy in-room dining our entire stay! The linoleum floor was a subtly muted brown which nicely complemented the beige walls and off white linens. Linens were surprisingly plush, and definitely high-end Target quality, not the WalMart or Dollar Store level we may have expected. Finally, the complimentary breakfast was a great assortment of differently colored cereals. With 2 complete waffle irons there was very little waiting. And because they were self-service, we could control how much batter we poured and the resulting size of our waffles! So all in all this was a great stay at a wonderful inn! We certainly will look foward to staying here again!

The staff was friendly! Breakfast bar could get a few more items. Room was clean and well stocked considering it was a cheap room for less than 100 a night. The bathtub looked a bit rundown. But the stay overall was comfortable and not a lot of complaints.

This property needs a serious renovation and a deep cleaning. Anything made of metal in the room was rusty (light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, furniture legs, …). Mattress was lumpy and stained, bathroom toilet was stained and cracked, seat was stained and delaminated, tub was stained.
