The house offers pristine distant views and easy access to Lake Whitingham, Enjoyed by swimmers, boaters, paddlers and fishermen. (3-Kayaks, stand up paddle board and multiple bikes included in rental). The house has an open floor plan offering 3 separate lounging areas. Cathedral ceilings in living room with exposed timber beams provide a rustic cabin feel. Radiant heated floor makes for a comfortable house in winter. Covered deck with grill and table just off kitchen. 3 Full baths, 4 bedroom.Two of the queen rooms offer amazing lake views. High quality game room is an integrated part of the house and includes a slate Pool Table, 12' Shuffleboard table, Foosball and Ping pong. Historic downtown Wilmington is 1 mile away. A walkable village center with shops and restaurants, nestled in a beautiful natural setting. Surrounded by lakes, mountains and forest offering miles of hiking trails. You can walk to town from our property mostly thru a wooded trail. less than a 1 mile hike! Driveway is plowed and sanded in winter. However we do require that you have 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles During snow season. House Features Include:- 60" TV, TV in game room, both smart TV's with surround sound, Hi Speed Wireless internet Leather couches- Quality game room (Slate pool table, Quality Shuffleboard , Foosball Table & ping pong) Sauna - BBQ on deck,Sheets & Towels are included. The Best quality game room! Mount Snow is a 10 minute drive- Covered outdoor hot tub(September- March only)- Indoor sauna- Wood burning stove Summer Features: Bikes (5) and kayaks (3)and newly aquired Paddelboard. included with rental- Lake for swimming & boating at base of private drive, amazing water quality.-Boat launch at base of private drive. 1 mile walk town,The town of Wilmington, a historic small town charted in 1751, is 1 mile away. Paradise!

Everything about the stay was wonderful! The property is beautiful. We used the sauna, kayaks, hot tub, trail to town etc and it was all wonderful. Thanks for a great stay!

Great property

We rented this property for our yearly “friends group” vacation, and we were not disappointed. The view from the deck and yard is beautiful. It was the perfect backdrop for some yard games and hanging out. The house itself had plenty of activities and room for a group of guys to keep entertained for a couple of nights. Wilmington had just enough amenities to be convenient but still rural. Tony was extremely responsive and accommodating, as well. Overall, it was a perfect rental for the weekend.

We had a great long weekend with the family in this warm and comfortable house overlooking a beautiful lake. The place was spotless and well-appointed. The best mark of a good host is someone who goes above and beyond to make your visit

Family Vacation 2025

Our annual family ski vacation is always at Mt Snow. This year we were lucky enough to spend a week at Tony and Jeanette’s home. Which is exactly as we felt - at home. The house is beautiful and the amenities perfect. The home was clean, guest linens and towels, paper goods all provided. We loved the view and the binoculars!! We would love to stay again.

Excellent ski trip

My extended family had an excellent stay at this property. It is clean, well stocked and cared for and has more than enough room for our two families of four to both spread out and come together. Multiple people in our party commented on this being the best game room we’ve had at a vacation house and the view was equally impressive, both of the lake during the day and the stars at night. Convenient 15 minutes to Mount Snow and lots of places to eat and drink right in Wilmington. For someone like me who gets up before the sunrise to ski, it’s also the little things like the lights of the plow clearing the driveway at 5:45am on a powder day that separate the good places from the great places and this is a great place.

Perfect getaway

The owner was available through call/text, although we didn’t need anything. Beautiful house with even more beautiful views. The game room was a big hit. Hot tub and sauna were great as well. This house has everything! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Summer Retreat for the Family!

Superb views of the Vermont Mountains and spacious property made this a location my family would love to revisit! We booked Tony's home rather last minute as a Labor Day retreat for my family and several friends, we were blown away by the facilities on-site and closeness to the lake. The kids loved the game room, bicycles, and even tried kayaking by themselves. As a note to perspective renters, this property is about a 1,000ft walk to the lake from the hill the house is based on. Older renters might want to take a vehicle to the Lake if uphill walks are challenging. 10/10

Awesome Everything

Amazing high level view of the lake, perfect lawn for games and other fun, plently of indoor table games. It really was better than we anticipated. Tony was easy to communicate with and check in and check out was simple.

Spectacular view with lots of things to do

Tony's place was an excellent choice for our group of 10 (two families with 6 teens/young adults). Game room with pool table and shuffleboard was a big hit (ping pong table was a mini size). Plenty of space for a large group. Comfortable beds and kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans, dishes, and utensils. Our group made use of the grill, fire pit (made smores), bikes, kayaks, paddleboard, and cornhole. Lake access is at the bottom of a steep driveway with a public picnic area and gravel boat launch which we used for a small motorboat. Quaint downtown is 1 mile in and grocery store is very close. Tony was very responsive and an excellent host.

Good stay - would be great with a few minor tweaks

Our party of 10 were here for the first time celebrating my husband's 40th birthday, and overall it was a really good stay - only issues were we didn't see until the onsite instructions we had to forage for our own firewood and couldn't use anything already chopped in the shed, the hot tub was actually NOT available (which wasn't clear from the listing and we were looking forward to it), and the grill/grill brush was found in such grimey shape when we opened it we didn't want to use it despite planning to. The owner look a little bit to respond to our questions via Vrbo once we were onsite, but then once we exchanged cell phone #s he did call to check in a couple times. There wasn't anything to be done about the hot tub or wood, but he said the grill had been cleaned last week so had only a week's worth of grime on it (even though to us it looked like a lot more...). Since the only cleaning brush was also so grimey we decided not to use it and opt for the oven instead; which was a bummer. So a few issues that weren't necessarily a deal breaker, but kind of frustrating to get those surprises/lost opportunities. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable with perfect weather and we made some good memories.

Great place for extended family getaway

Everything here was great! Clean and well organized, lots of helpful kitchen supplies, towels, pillows, and sheets. Game room kept the older kids (and the 40-something dad) peacefully occupied. Beautiful views! Wonderful Sauna. Bring your bug spray as the flies are little crazy out in the yard. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay at Tony's property

Our stay at this lakeside house was perfect! The breathtaking views were stunning, and we loved the serene atmosphere. We enjoyed kayaking, biking, swimming in the lake, and cozying up by the fireplace. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Great stay in Wilmington

My girlfriends and I had a great stay in Wilmington! The house was spacious, clean, great for a large group, and in a wonderful location. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the tools and appliances one might need. The weather limited us from some of the outdoor activities - but we would certainly return again for a chance to bike, hike, and kayak. Thanks!

Cozy house with an amazing view

We loved everything about this house. The view was amazing. Location was perfect and everyone enjoyed the pool table, shuffle board and ping pong table. If we had more time, we would have taken advantage of the kayaks but our stay was just too short to fit that in. The host was terrific and quick to respond. If our travels ever take us to Vermont, we’d definitely stay here again.
