North Getaway Cottage

A great place for vacationers and those seeking a remote work or school location with three work areas and a guest printer. Each bedroom and the common area all have individual ACs. A short walk to Williams College, The Clark Art Museum, Williams College Museum of Art, Williamstown Theatre Festival ('62 Center), downtown Spring & Water Streets, local parks, hiking trails, and a short drive to MASS MoCA, Vermont & New York state.

The cottage has two floors, each with two bedrooms and one full bath. Each bedroom has a keyed lock for privacy and security if guests want to secure their belongings while out and about.

The cottage is located in a residential neighborhood and across the street from a portion of WIlliams College and easily accessible to the two major roads through Williamstown: Route 2 east and west & Route 7 north and south.

The house on the outside was a little run down, but nice and clean on the inside. The beds are small! We had 3 couples and only 1 queen bed. The other downfall is that there is no dining room table, only a breakfast bar, so if you want to sit around and enjoy each others company or play cards there is no place to do that.

Just right for our girls getaway!

This home was perfect for five of us to reconnect after many years! Williamstown was beautiful and suited our needs. We enjoyed both the nearby Clark Museum and Mass MOCA, as well as Mt. Greylock. Since all of us were coming from different directions, we had five cars and thankfully, this house has plenty of parking. I’d recommend this VRBO highly, especially for family of students at Williams College.

Best Berkshires Stay!

My family and I stayed here for New Years Eve and went skiing at Jiminy Peak. It was such a great house, CLEAN and in a prime location in Williamstown. The hosts were responsive and helpful and the house was perfect for the 6 of us. Thank you so much for a great way to start 2023!

Camp Week

The property was great and made a hot week enjoyable. The only issue was the front door. We had an awfully hard time getting it to stay shut. Sometimes it would catch, other days it seemed like there was nothing we could do to get it to stay closed. Have already recommended to others.

Sweet and comfy

The house is fully appointed with all one would need for a lovely Williamstown experience. The beds are very comfortable. We did not spend a lot of time at the house but the time we did was very enjoyable.

Great Location

This was a great, cozy home with the most well stocked kitchens I've seen. This was just what my family needed as we were in town for a family event. It was clean and well cared for. Communication with the property managers was great and they had a quick response. We had a minor issue with one of the locks but when we reported it, it was cared for right away. This place was just what we needed and appreciated it's availability.

almost on campus

We wanted a getaway for a few days with options for being outdoors or just lounging inside depending on the weather and our mood -- this little house fit the bill! Just off the campus of Williams College, on the main road but pretty quiet. Kitchen has all the tools you need, stores are nearby, and it's an easy drive to hiking areas (Mt Greylock, Pittsfield State Forest). Comfortable beds. (One suggestion: a quick guide for using the TV would be helpful. It's a Roku, which we weren't familiar with, and we had a hard time getting access to the Red Sox game. :) )

Comfortable in-town, spacious for a cottage

This is a very nice, clean, simple place for a family or group that wants to be within walking distance of Williams College, Spring Street (college central commercial corridor) and the Clark Art Institute. The place makes maximum smart use of space so there really are 4 bedrooms plus a living room with a fold out dining table (and 2 full baths). The trade-off for being so close to town is something that VRBO's map software (NOT the hosts) unfortunately masks: the place is on a road with regular traffic and road noise if readily audible if not dominant. Bottom line, if you want in-town, this is a nice choice; if you want bucolic and rural, this may not be your best option in and around Williamstown

We had an amazing time enjoying the snow in Williamstown! Fantastic location, with sledding within walking distance and cute restaurants and shops near by for take out, and cross country skiing nearby as well. Hosts were fantastic. Thank you!

Wonderful stay

The place was clean and had everything we needed. I thought the hot water was off and Claudia offered to swing by right away! Turns out I was just using the shower wrong. Great stay and would come back!
