Our stay was just okay. While the hotel had some fun amenities for kids, like pool activities, a great DJ, and a fun water aerobics class in the morning, several things fell short.
The room had a strong fishy odor when we arrived, which was unpleasant. The air conditioning didn’t work through the night, and we later discovered it was due to a misplaced door sensor—something the staff never mentioned or helped with. Guest services never answered the phone, so we couldn’t get fresh towels or pool towels during our stay.
While the staff we encountered were friendly, the service overall was mediocre. We requested a late checkout and were denied because it has to be requested 24 hours in advance—even though check-in wasn’t until 4 p.m. That policy felt rigid and inconvenient.
Overall, the hotel has potential, especially for families with kids, but the lack of basic service and attention to detail really impacted our experience
