"The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! "My stay was pleasant. This is my second time coming to this establishment for a trip to the mountains. The staff is very helpful and the stay was quiet and comfortable. The room was clean and the staff EVS cleaned very well. In a perfect world I’d love if the facility had rooms that had more high tech amenities like all digital window shades or a more sophisticated air conditioning unit. What was there was normal and acceptable. I had a pleasant stay."

"The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers.
