My family and I stayed in one of the two-bedroom chalets. The property was clean and well maintained. Dining at the resort restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Overall a very comfortable night's stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful Towels were changed daily which is not necessary nor what was advertised.

Lovely Stay

Great value for money. Lovely property. Excellent food from the restaurant. Really enjoyed the meaty basket- top notch, absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned meat, good sized portion, very filling.

We only stayed 1 night, but the hotel was great. Nice pool, great restaurant and super friendly staff. Airco was a bit noisy in the night. Other than that, it was great

Work trip.

Older style property and needs a little work done but grounds, room, facilities all ok and price point matches the offering. Service team were excellent and couldnt do enough - maybe a little over eager to check, clear and ask if "all ok". Overall good and would stay there again.

Comfortable room and good location. Access to restaurant/bar easy walking distance. Just no phone in the room to call reception, but whats app number provided. Suggest air freshner for bathroom, but other than that, no complaints. Safe and quiet.

Not bad, room for improvement

The overall stay was OK. Room amenities where great and it was very comfortable. However, it was very noisy the Saturday morning when we woke, workers and guests. I had to phone in on Saturday afternoon when our room was not made up when we were gone the entire day, even when indicated so with the sign on the door.

Had an amazing spa treatment, Lizelle and Marcia were the best! Service at the hotel was subpar, the numbers for reception and emergency were disengaged for our entire stay. The mattress in executive suite L002 isn’t comfortable at all. The restaurant, please take better care to clean and maintain, the chairs were dirty.

Family Christmas Holiday

Our stay from 24 to 27 December 2023 was okay. The receptionist was very warm and her demeanor positive. The superior room we booked was okay but cleaners must try to be thorough in their cleaning. Please control ants and spiders. The room will also have an appeal once flooring is improved. The sports fields were far from what is advertised - condition poor.

We had an unexpectedly late check-in however the person behind the desk was very friendly and helpful at such an hour. All was in order and we were able to get to our rooms with minimal delay.

Poor Service

We had booked two rooms through Hotel.com however when we arrived at the Resort they were unable to pick up the booking. We were travelling with family and wanted both rooms to be next to each other for convenience. Only one room was booked and was told by the reception they are fully booked and placed us in a ''honeymoon suite'' at first which was not what we had booked. According to the restaurant manager (Charl ) the ''honeymoon suite is not even supposed to be used as it is supposed to be under renovation. We could literally feel the springs on the bed that's how bad it was. We then went back to reception to ask for another room , the guy from reception (Pier ) told us we must just make do with that room.We then were given two options of rooms to choose from however yet again these rooms are their back up rooms which are not in very good condition and should not even be let out for guests. The phone didn't work , the shower had no pressure. The room was not cleaned, spider webs everywhere. Empty shampoo, lotion bottles where left behind. The bedding and the bed was not cleaned. The curtains were dirty with stains. The lighting was so very poor. Very poor service and very disappointing. We travelled from far to get pushed around and told we must just make do.

Relaxing stay in White River

Amazing stay at Ingwenyama Resort. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast is up there with the best we'd ever had. The service from all the staff was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Pool area and surrounding gardens where immaculate. Excellent value for the area and I would highly recommend a stay there.
