"As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!"

"Wonderful property with amazing hosts! They were incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions for everything. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you could need for a short or extended stay. We especially loved the two fire pits—one near the cabin and another by the pond. The boathouse was a bonus, stocked with camping chairs, kayaks, life vests, and more! Even the dirt road leading to the cabin was in good shape, if you’re not driving a truck or SUV. "O unique place to stay this property which was a fisherman wharf converted to a cozy home. Ruggedly rustic on the outside however warm ambiance awaits inside. Ample supplies of Soft thick new towels fresh linens lots of pillows will pamper you Amenities of an urban lifestyle in a rural marina setting Clean spacious the owner sure knows the needs of a traveller! "This property was an exceptional find. Exactly as advertised but with a view more spectacular than imagined. Very clean property with all the necessary amenities. The cottage was extremely comfortable and spacious with exceptionally beautiful bedrooms with loads of closet space. "North River is stunning! The pictures cannot depict its beauty inside and out! Spacious enough for all 8 of us. Fully equipped with everything we needed. We made good use of the hot tub and pool. We even had an Eagle sitting on our vehicle! The views to the outdoors are beautiful all around! Would definitely stay here again, the next time we visit. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was remodeled and is even better than the pictures! It was spacious, comfortable and had all that we needed. The view from the second level was beyond picturesque especially at sunset. We saw whales right outside in the bay and the hiking trail right by the house was amazing!The owner was quick to respond and super friendly. "

"This home was in an ideal location to venture out to various sites. Everything you need for your stay was there. Although the stairway going upstairs was narrow, we were aware from other reviews about it. I am over 6’ tall so the double beds weren’t ideal but we still slept well. I was already aware of the double beds before we arrived. We only had our breakfasts there so we didn’t use the kitchen for our other meals. The owner, Jeff responded quickly to a question we had.
