"Dead spider next to dresser table, old stain on bedding cover, cob webs on seating tables outside, leaves swept under the outside sofa cover and dirty sofa under the cover. Could be cleaned a lot more professionally Not hot tub instructions in regards to when the tube gets cold as we tried the second night and it was too cold to stay in. Would be nice to have instructions to re heat. Overall the stay was really nice and I would definitely re visit! "

"The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car. In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels...

"The lodge was in such a great location. It was such a good size with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and the garden so relaxing. We only stayed two nights and were out a lot of the time so I feel we didn’t get the full benefit of the lodge and area. I hope to return for longer at some point in 2026"
