    You will be warmly welcomed by our committee of 1x shitsu/maltese dog and 1 border collieX, female.
    Escape the city and enjoy your private chalet, purpose built to enjoy the fabulous mountain
    and sea views.
    We are situated 2kms from Ocean Beach, renowned for beautiful clean white sand.
    Perfect for the keen surfer and swimmer.
    Bream Head walks are located down the hill at Peach Cove, which will take you over to
    Ocean Beach, down to Peach Cove, Smugglers and Urquharts Bay.
    Enjoy the serene and spectacular beach walks over to Proctors up to Kauri Mountain
    watching the bird life along the way.
    Mount Manaia, famous for the mountain climb is both challenging and rewarding.
    The views from the top are breathtaking! Well worth the effort.
    Urquharts bay, 5mins away is perfect for swimming, paddleboarding and launching your
    boat.
    There is also a newly built large wharf, suitable for fishing off.
    Swimming, diving, waterskiing, and kayaking are all possible just minutes from your Chalet.
    If you fancy a round of golf, we have a beautiful course 20 mins away and afterwards you
    could enjoy and drink/meal at our famous Parua Bay Tavern.

    We have parking available for boat up to 6mtrs long.

Home away from home

There’s a reason why Kathryn and Kevin are rated as exceptional hosts, that’s because that is exactly what they are…lovely genuine people who really make you feel welcome. The setting looks exactly like the photos, my partner and I felt so relaxed as soon as we arrived. I highly recommend staying at Twin Palms and look forward to returning soon 😊

The chalet is lovely

It was a great stay, even though the weather was not its best. Being dog friendly is a huge bonus . The chalet is beautifully presented, comfortable and perfect for just hanging out. Thanks guys.

Wonderful for time out, beautiful views and birdsong

As the title indicates, this was a wonderful, opportunity to replenish spiritually and emotionally. We were fortunate with good weather, but the views would have been sensational whatever the weather, and the quietness and beauty gave 100% restoration, even within a 24 hour period.

Tranquil, relaxing stay

We were so pleased to be able to bring our little furry friends with us on this trip. They absolutely loved the beach walks and exploring the rural setting around the studio. Kathryn and Kevin gave us a warm welcome and then pretty much left us to it. The spa pool was an added bonus to relax in. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to stay again one day.

Quiet cottage with excellent ocean and mountain views. Kathryn and Kevin are wonderful hosts. Lots of walking trails nearby. Accommodation even comes with a fire pit, barbecue, kayaks, two dogs and a cat! (and a sometimes resident kiwi). We enjoyed a great four days here.

A warm welcome from Kevin and the dogs on arrival. A lovely clean, beautifully decorated accomodation. All necessary equipment to cook and some basic pantry items provided. Fresh milk which we loved(not uht) and some yummy cereal. The spa was fabulous and views perfect. We had a real nice peaceful stay which was what we were looking for. Finished off with a 2 minute drive to ocean beach before heading off. Fabulous property, fabulous hosts.
