"This was our second stay at The Pheasant Inn and we were not disappointed. The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing! There is so much to see and do in the area we will definitely be back in the new year too."

Staff were very helpful and went out of there way Pet friendly hotel. Staff went out there way for my dog buster. Offered him sausages and treats. Buster was made up. Defiantly will be back x Only 2 little mini things was couldn't work out the shower and no instructions about how to work the hot tub. Only that there was someone in the pool telling us how to...

"We have stayed at The Powfoot Hotel as a stopover on the way to our final destination in Scotland. It is an absolute gem. Of course there are newer and plusher hotels but this place takes some beating for its idyllic location, courteous and professional service, cleanliness, comfort and good value restaurant.
