"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Excellent home for 3 generation family ages 8 to 80. Plenty of room for the kids inside and out and separate from the adults. Beautiful Clew Bay views from the house, quiet peaceful walks by the sea in the mornings and evenings, and good surfing beaches nearby. Conor & Carol were immediately responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend this home for anyone. "

"A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!"

"Taking a short break in Mayo, following a wedding. Wonderful peaceful location, superb Irish breakfast. Friendly, charming, helpful and informative host. Wifi available, but no TV in room which didn't worry us in the slightest - just encouraged us to switch off. Easy reach of Westport and Newport, but extensive roadworks and contraflow on the road into Westport were a minor inconvenience. Finding a table at a restaurant for dinner locally can be challenging notwithstanding plethora of...

"We had a fantastic stay for New Year’s Eve. House caters for large numbers. All rooms are spacious & furnished to an extremely high-level. "its position could hardly be bettered, on a promontory with views to East, South, and West. We enjoyed the sound of silence, with occasional bleatings from the hillside. We took advantage of many local amenities and sites, shops, restaurants and walks, including the nearby Connemara National Park. All good!"
