Or make an afternoon of slurping oysters and sipping Farmer's Fizz on the deck at Westport Sea Farms, a short stretch down the road. Rent a kayak and discover the Westport River, paddling to your heart's content.
Upon your return, relax on the stone patio in Adirondack chairs while enjoying ocean breezes, or choose a shady spot in the green backyard.
Bring your bikes! A newly built, paved bicycle/walking lane begins a block away from your front door and leads you over the bridge to Horseneck Beach or Cherry & Webb beach, 2 miles away .
Drive to Westport Village center for shopping, dining, and groceries, only 8 minutes away. Browse the Saturday Farmer's Market where you will find grass-fed local beef, local honey, organic cotton hand-made sheets, and tomatoes to die for. Or drive around to the many farm stands along the winding town roads.
