"When we walked in, the lady at the front desk (Bonnie?) was very welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. The pool and hot tub and gym were perfect for our family. I used the lovely office area to get some business done on one of the computers. Internet access was easy. Of all the hotels we had been to on our summer road trip, your hotel had the best breakfast and the sweetest chef who helped with food choice and also with planning a great day at the beach and dunes. "Great historic hotel and great price. Right in the center of Arcata Plaza - so lots of cute shopping and restaurants. The sushi place connected to the hotel was tasty. The room we had suited our needs and the bathroom had great water pressure. Our "view" faced the other rooms and part of the roof which was a bummer but we also didn't hear any of the street noise. "

"We did not plan ahead and needed a place to stay on the 4th of July. This gem of a propert had a room open at a decent price! The front desk staff had no customer service skills or information on the breakfast offered or pool. We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a great suprise. The breakfast was horrible very few options and messy."

"This was an excellent hotel! It was conveniently located and has a ton of rooms. It's a very pet friendly hotel and has a great breakfast in the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable and gave us a great nights sleep."

"Modern and new throughout, very well organized and well thought out inside the room. Has everything you would need for a short stay. And very nice and spacious communal area around the lobby. We love it and have become an instant fan of Home2 Suites by Hilton!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Carter House. The bartender made us mocktails because we didn’t want the options that they had. I was also able to charge our EV at no cost. Location is very convenient for Eureka."

"Fun little motel. Our room was a good size. Huge bathroom. There was even a kitchenette with fridge, hand sink, and microwave. We had the bottom floor. Not the motels fault but the family with 2 children above us were so loud that i had to let them know. Dad apologized and we were just fine after that. Btw i waited until 11pm. Small parking lot but never had a problem getting one. Just a few blocks from old downtown and harbor."
