We came to the area for a tournament and this was our home base for the week—-warm, homey and a great retreat from the gym. We mostly had breakfasts there and then late night snacks. The beautiful country drive to both Topeka and Lawrence was easy. We appreciated the quiet area!

Everything about staying here was wonderful! The place itself was well kept and well furnished. It had everything you would need. A welcome basket with goodies was a sweet surprise as well as fresh flowers. And the bed…I’m picky and it was incredible! Great surprise!The hosts were very responsive ...

It is a nice hotel and the staff were okay. The price was a bit high, but they are the only hotel in the area.
