"The George Manor is a beautiful 1851 historic home that is well-maintained. The staff are awesome…and the food is professionally prepared and delicious! We enjoyed touring this home and learning its history. It is in an excellent location that is central to most all that Galveston has to offer. "One window had condensation so the bedding and my clothing seemed slightly damp. Continental breakfast was ok but not great. I can understand charging for parking while on a cruise but not for an overnight stay. That should be included. Room and bed were comfortable. Liked the location to the Strand. I would stay again. "

"The hotel is super clean and room was as well. The only downside to this hotel is the breakfast. They only have waffles which had a weird taste, mufdins, two types of cereal and toast. We had to go out to eat for breakfast everyday because the selection is not very good at all. I know this is continental breakfast but there are other places way better. The pool is pretty small too but thats not such a big deal since the ocean is a quick 5 minute walk. All in all, this hotel is very clean and...

"There are several repairs that need to be addressed 1 window blind doesn’t work 2 door to balcony sticks at top left and needs repaired. 3 a/c needs some work our room was very warm after noon had to go buy a fan bc hotel doesn’t offer complimentary fans. 4. Was there 5 days had to request room service and go down to get clean towels."
