For those seeking entertainment, a selection of board games and puzzles is provided for your enjoyment.

Relax on the front porch swing, letting the gentle breeze and the sounds of nature wash over you, or take a leisurely stroll through the surrounding woods. The location is truly unbeatable! Forget Me Not is perfectly situated, and its charm and elegance are best appreciated in person. The nearby hiking trails in the National Forest offer great adventures, and if you enjoy water activities, bring your boat and explore Cave Run Lake!

We prioritize your privacy and the safety of our guests, which is why we have a security camera focused solely on the driveway. It's important to note that we are located in the heart of the National Forest, so you may encounter dust, bugs, and wildlife typical of a natural setting. We are proud to be pet-friendly and strive to maintain a clean environment, but if you have severe allergies to pets or the wilderness, please consider this before booking.

Lastly, please remember that we do not provide charcoal for guests, so plan accordingly for your outdoor fire needs. While smoking is permitted outside, we ask for no smoking inside the cabin

We loved our stay at Forget Me Not! This cabin was everything we could have asked for. It was cozy, comfortable, thoughtfully designed and decorated. We loved the different balconies and porches. We enjoyed the firepit outside and made a fire to cook hot dogs and smores. Very well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Great communication!! Wish we could have stayed longer and would 100% stay again.

Forget me not is absolutely the correct name for this beautiful cabin that feels like it’s on the top of the world. The host always communicated whatever we needed to know in a timely manor and the place itself was kept very clean and tidy. The property is as comfortable as it looks and all the amenities are everything you’d need and want for a high class cabin stay. We didn’t want to leave and we will never forget the relaxing stay at Forget me not.

Beautiful cabin & location

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and fairly secluded. The closest visible neighbor was about a quarter a mile away but it never felt like our privacy was impeded. Great amenities and everything you could need was provided! My husband and I had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to visit again!

Great Stay

We absolutely loved this property! William was great at communicating and made this cabin so welcoming. The AC circulated upstairs perfectly when you turned on the fan at the foot of the stairs. No complaints here! We would definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed!

Forget Me Not was exactly what two old friends, who hadn't seen each other in years, needed to relax and catch-up!! It was just as advertised - secluded, beautiful, quiet and with a wonderful fire pit. Despite losing power about 11:30 pm on the first night (through no fault at all of the owner), William responded to our message immediately and contacted the power company who came out right away and had everything up and running in just a couple of hours. We could not have asked for a better few days or a more gracious host! Thank you for everything!

Private and secluded

Forget Me Not was very nice and secluded. They also provided just about everything you would need such as firewood, charcoal for the grill, coffee, popcorn, etc. I would definitely stay again.

Peaceful Bliss

The property is secluded and in the midst of large trees. The inside was clean and incredibly well-equipped. The outside has several outdoor areas for conversation/cooking. It was exactly what we were looking for. The owners were quick to respond to questions and provided detailed instructions for directions and check in. 10/10

Perfect getaway cabin

This cabin is clean, well-equipped and comfortable! My two grandsons and I had a wonderful visit and really enjoyed the firepit, ate too many s'mores! It's a gorgeous area, and a beautiful drive to the Gorge activities. We went underground kayaking, hiking and horsebackriding. If we'd had another day we would've gone fishing. We stayed busy and the beds were very comfortable after active days. The owner is very responsive and accessible. Highly recommend. I'd happily return!

Wonderful Cabin!

Father and son 💙 memories.

Well after searching for a couple days i finally settled on "forget me not". Me my dad and my best friend Arcana blu my dog spent 4nights up there and could not have been any more pleased with what i had chosen for our time away.the cabin was perfect in every way it had the home feel the drive up was beautiful and the drive to and from the red river gorge area where we did our hiking was just what we wanted. We used the cabin as our base camp and ventured out every day for hiking and site seeing and then returned back to our cabin for just a great evening of relaxation by a great fire pit and preparing for our dinner ,then we would stretch out and reflect on our day and watch Big Foot mysteries on the tv. My dog Arcana blu really came in to her own she kinda found out who she is being up there she absolutely loved this place she ripped and ran and was just a very happy dog for her first big outing like this. My dad was so impressed with what i had chosen and how accommodating this place was for us the easy check in check out was smooth and we want to bring other family members up to share this place with them. All in all this place was absolutely perfect and will definitely be coming back. Thank you William for your emails and a perfect time to make memories with my father!! We have really enjoyed ourselves at the "forget me not" cabin, come check it out and leave it just the way you fount it with a little more love added to this jewl.😊
