"My wife and I are travelling around our own backyard this year.( Atlantic Canada). We recently stayed at the Ye Olde Argyler Lodge, and fell in love with all that it offered Clean well kept rooms, excellent breakfast, knowledgeable and courteous staff, and an ocean view that is spectacular to say the least. "The rooms are very clean, and the beds bed’s are super cozy. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the bay. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jason who booked us with that great room. The Rodd has a restaurant and lounge on site. Walking distance to all the shops and pubs in town. We definitely plan on visiting here again. Highly recommend this beautiful place!"

"The hotel was great for a budget hotel. The only issue was coming into the parking lot there is a huge pothole that needs to be fixed asap. I was lucky not to damage the front end of my sport car which is low profile. Besides that issue it was a nice little spot."

"There is a strong chemical smell constantly, maybe from the parking lot construction, but it was very unpleasant and even in our room. We asked for an extra blanket and were told there weren’t any left. The ac was awful.. if it was on it would kick on and off all night super loud and wake us up but if it was off it was uncomfortably warm. The breakfast was great and people working there were great. If you’re sensory sensitive like us with sound and smell this is not the place for you."
