"We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return"

"A wonderful, clean,air condtioned room and staff can be contacted 24/7 if any problems. Bed was very comfortable and being left a small bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Parking was no problem at all in front of buillding. Did have any food but all looked lovely. Would definately recommend."

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"Really great hotel with so much attention to detail. Record players in the room and a huge selection of records is a really nice touch. The Radio was on when we arrived to our room and the Pantry is generous & a really unique touch. Canadian lady on the Bar was knowledgeable & super friendly (Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the extensive bar menu was priced). Just really really cool & great location."

"The room was small but clean, had a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The guest kitchen and sitting area was a great bonus and had everything you needed to cook a meal. Nour was the most friendly and helpful host. He arranged a parking permit for £5 pound a day. Easy walking distance to town centre."

"Clean, comfortable room in a location giving easy access to the centre of York. Not really for 4 grown up people though. More like 3. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 children would've been OK. The second bed was small. "

"Calm quiet atmosphere. Paper thin walks, could hear people on the toilet next door! Very tiny shower, DIY shelf that kept crashing down , hit me on the head. Breakfast, polite staff. Car parking is a joke, £15 per night. And empty . NPC is cheaper. Very near to York, lovely walk into town. Over priced and more of a student , back packer style accommodation."

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel, which is only a 10 minute walk from the city centre and close to York’s many attractions. Our air conditioned room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing table, hairdryer, iron, tv and plenty of power sockets. The en-suite had a spacious walk-in shower and toiletries were included. We used the hotel restaurant in the evenings and our meals were both well presented and delicious. "Great staff and stay"

"We were put in room 41 in the Lodge at the bottom of the car park. When we checked in the window was wide open and there was a smell of damp. As we were going straight out we just dropped our bags, closed the window and left. We came back at 1-pm to an overwhelming smell of damp. It is possibly the worst hotel room I have ever slept in."
