We have been staying one night for the past 4 years on our way home from Mexico to Canada and always look forward to this little gem of a hotel. Our favorite is the little restaurant/bar in the lobby, great atmosphere, good variety of food and we don't have to drive around town looking for a place with takeout ( 2 dogs prevent us from fine dining experiences) Although rooms are small they are beautiful and cozy. Beds are exceptional and very comfortable. Haven't been here when pool is opened but is is a beautiful set up. It's kind of a one of a kind place that we are glad we found!

The staff was very welcoming and the check-in area/lobby was different and nice. We reserved a king room but they don't have one on the ground floor and they don't have an elevator so ended up on the ground floor in a room that must have had previous bathroom flooding and the restroom smelled like old diapers. I had planned on taking a bubble bath but the tub had rust spots and no stopper. This was advertised as a "Best Western Plus" and my expectations were way higher than they provided product.

The staff at this property was truly lovely, professional, and very interested in meeting our needs. We will return! Breakfast was truly good, I would say ... made with love! Loved that they can make your eggs on demand instead of the usually awful clump of eggs that you get in other hotels that offer complimentary breakfast.

Old old hotel, unorganized, air conditioner was not on when we entered the 2nd room. Never cooled down til morning. 93 degree day. First room hadn’t been cleaned yet at 6:00 pm. Wooden floors dirty, shower was adequate. Expedia charged us $20 more than our receipt for the room. We chose not to stay for breakfast. The sheets were clean. The check in clerk was overwhelmed and I actually felt for her. never saw a maid anywhere the whole time. Someone checking in when we did, refused the room and got her money back. Wouldn’t care to go through Expedia again. After driving 10 hours that day, couldn’t go any further, so… stayed in the hot room. One star is sufficient for this hotel.

Floors filthy, would not switch room to first floor even so family member has limited physical capability, no elevator. Mattresses were both soft and broken, killed our backs. Won’t be back - and we are rewards members!!!

After seeing some pretty good reviews for this place, we decided to book it. Right on Route 66 and the pictures looked great. The main courtyard and the lobby all looked really nice. We were given our room and it’s around back of the other rooms and not even in the main area and it appears we’re back with all the construction workers. Room was decent. But the bathroom is at the very back of the room and the lights above the vanity do not work at all. The room seemed fairly clean until we looked at the cords for the lamps plugged in and there’s dust an inch thick. Decided to go to the lobby where they have a restaurant and bar. Opens at five. At 6 o’clock there was nobody in there, nobody behind the bar and the place was empty. So we went elsewhere. Definitely pass on the breakfast. The juice machine was broken, the coffee was instant, and the donut holes were hard.I would definitely go try any other hotel/motel in that area.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. They were short staffed when we were there and had to perform multiple duties. They pulled it off seamlessly. The lobby area is very cozy and inviting and so is the restaurant and bar. The room was very clean and comfortable, but could definitely use some updating.

At check-in there was only one person working at front desk and as a waiter in the small restaurant. A squeaking bed in our double room lead us to not getting any sleep the entire night. Every move my son made in the second bed sounded like someone moving loud furniture, yes just that loud! Front desk check-out lady did not speak English and face-timed someone who on phone who assisted me with check out. I was informed that my receipt would therefore be sent to me. Very bad experience with virtual Expedia requesting a refund. Seems that no one wants to take responsibility for this hotel failure. I expect a lot more from a PLUS hotel and for the price that paid and I am still waiting to hear back from management.

What am amazing surprise for a last minute reservation! Such a unique aesthetic it felt like something you would find in a storybook forest.. Loved it ..felt so safe and the staff was super friendly and helpful both night and morning shift..really enjoyed will look to stay again during future cross country trips!

Krystal at the Best Western Plus in Weatherford, OK was absolutely amazing. She was truly running a one-woman show—handling the front desk, managing housekeeping, and running breakfast all at the same time. She cooked omelets, served guests, cleared plates, and did it all with a smile. On our way out, she noticed us struggling to take a selfie and even came outside to take our picture. That level of attentiveness and care is rare. Outstanding customer service and a wonderful start to our day!
