"The location was as good as it gets: you can see Main Street in Lake Placid. It’s a 2-5 minute walk. Also a 2-5 minute walk to the Mirror Lake trail (2.8 mile loop). The view from the room was gorgeous. The pool was 80 degrees and the hot tub 100. The pool had a 9.5ft depth on one end and was the biggest pool we’ve seen at a hotel. "John was kind enough to bring me a fan so temperature was cool at night. I saw many of the rooms that I would have preferred over mine. Great location for doing lots of exploration and very quiet, which I appreciated. I did not care for the basement kitchen area but I used it anyway. I booked through Expedia and found their cost high."

"Check in and out, door locks super convenient and easy!! Pool, fire pit,games were very nice and used them.The staff was nice but couldn't provide EXPECTED supplies. There was no caffeinated coffee even though we reported it for a four day stay! There were no spoons or forks needed for several of the breakfast items. They didn't have these supplies to refill them. Many of us complained about the lack of coffee."

"Wonderful place, lovely dog friendly. The room we stayed in was just as huge as the photos show. One of our favorite parts was the walkability to downtown. Everyday we were able to easily get ready after a long day of hiking and walk downtown for food and bevs. Wonderful spot, definitely amazing price for performance stay!"
