"My preferred rating would have been 4.5 stars. The only issue was that they’re having some issues with their WiFi. If this is critical for you, ask for a room with the strongest signal. They assured me they are working on it which will involve a total overhaul so I expect sometime soon it will be a stellar experience to match the rest of the amenities. Let me just say that the listing here on Expedia undersold the Beach View Room!!! Not only did it have a refrigerator- which is at least twice...

"Clean but older hotel. The beds were clean and comfortable which is all that mattered to us. The mini fridge don’t work and the microwave was hard to get to come on which was just a minor inconvenience since we brought dinner from home to heat up. Basic continental breakfast of waffles, coffee, fruit, bagels, yogurt. Easy location to get around from if you want to go visit the coast. "

"I had no idea that you had to wait until after 3pm to get a code to be able to get into the front door and your room since there was no person at all inside. I called the phone # on the outside board and that person found the code for me since I did not get any info from expedia until much later. There was not a refrigerator to use."

"Place is a little dated. Bathroom faucet did not have hot water. Spider webs on the deck railings. Comfortable bed. Front desk staff friendly. Hot and cold breakfast options were basic and ample. If you are here to golf at Half Moon Bay course, this is a very convenient place to stay. That’s why we were here."

"We have booked at the Dylan Hotel at least three times. This hotel is one stop away from San Francisco International Airport on the BART. We like the convenience of the hotel so close to the BART station. The hotel is very nice and clean. They have a very nice outdoor patio to enjoy a glass of wine. It is within walking distance of the local restaurants. A clean and nice community."

"The rooms are clean and accommodating. It's a very nice environment. The service was not great. We were there for 5 days and they forgot to clean our room after we asked them. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, etc. Some of the staff was very rude. The breakfast was great! All in all the staff was rude, otherwise, it's a great place to stay especially if you have dogs."

"Just a quick overnight stay and was so pleased that we did. Love the location and proximity to all the walking/ hiking trails and the views. The staff was amazing. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep listening to the ocean. Only wish that the windows were cleaner so that we could fully appreciate the ocean view. We had a great breakfast while sitting on the outside patio. We will stay here again and would recommend it to others."
