"The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5. The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite. The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. "Excellent one night stay. Friendly and helpful team, spotless cleanliness , comfortable bed, quiet room, excellent shower. A bonus of breakfast sausage being gluten free! What more could you ask for!"

"Perfect location for our overnight stay after visiting Cadbury World - just a 3 minute drive with free parking. We had a triple room with 3 single beds with plenty of room for us all. Room was clean although a couple of the towels had stains on them. Restaurant unfortunately wasn’t serving their regular dinner menu only a limited bbq so we went elsewhere for dinner. Breakfast was lovely and worth the money before checking out. All staff we encountered were nice and polite - would 100% stay...

"Lou and her team were so helpful,caring and accommodating.All the staff were great,a big thank you to Emma . The locals in the bar below the guest rooms were very friendly. Looking forward to returning,when next in the area. I heartily recommend this hotel and the bar/restaurant "

"We had a beautiful stay the night before a family reunion the next day, during which we enjoyed a delicious meal and were accommodated perfectly. Gratitude to the staff who seated us at a large round table which was perfect for us to exchange our many memories and celebrate our grandparents who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary there back in 1973 and the bride and groom who held their reception there in 1971! We were even escorted to the original steps where all the group pictures were...

"What a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all. Check in easy and free parking. Walked through busy bar (2 weddings on) but no issues at all. A little noise heard from room until music finished but was grand. Our dog also had a super time "

"Ate in the bar area. Excellent food and knowledgeable about gluten free requirements. Room was well decorated and some nice finishing touches. My only criticism was that the shower should be updated"

"Very efficient, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The surrounding area felt a bit run down and unsafe. However the train station was nearby and there are several bus routes available. "

"We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, Vicky P was fantastic throughout the evening. I was unwell during the stay and needed to book an extra night, staff were kind and so caring asking my husband if I was ok. Will definitely stay again. Pool access was brilliant and included in the price."

"Thank you. I believe the rooms corridors leading to bedrooms need a make over. Chips and broken toilet sisterns toilet flusher all need repair before guests arrive. Breakfast was very good value for money and had a good choice. Entrance to hotel excellent. Thank you. Cheryl Shereni"
