Completely renovated charming cape is just steps away from Narragansett Bay. Come relax and enjoy your time in this two bedroom, one bath home that sleeps 5. This home has everything you need for a memorable time. Don’t forget to bring your beach chairs, a good book and your fishing poles. Plenty of nearby attractions. 4 houses away from Conimicut Beach. Providence is only 20 minutes away. Newport 35 minute away. Roger Williams zoo. ****update: 7/6/2024: A brand new dishwasher has been installed. Air conditioning on both levels and new gel mattress pads have been added to the king and full bed.

Superb place quite cozy but close enough to everything. Hospitality was incredible very easy to get a long with and only asks that you leave the house the way you found it, couldn’t be easier or better.

House rules are not accurate on VRBO page. Host will claim some cleaning rules (again not listed on property page anywhere) after the fact and attempt to back charge you. VRBO can help you get your money back if this also happens to you.

The house was amazing - so close to such a quaint beach. There was ample space with all the amenities you could possibly want! Such a beautiful and updated house. Christine was so helpful and responsive, such an amazing host. I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!

Overall a pleasant experience

The accommodation was nice and clean, and met all our basic needs. The location was excellent, allowing us easy access to various attractions in the area. We enjoyed exploring nearby destinations such as Providence, Newport, and Watch Hill, each offering its unique charm and activities. One of the highlights of our trip was the proximity to the beach, which provided a perfect spot for relaxation and fun. Additionally, we visited Old Furnace State Park, which was a great place for outdoor activities and enjoying nature. In summary, while the VRBO itself was pleasing, it was the surrounding area and its attractions that truly enhanced our stay. I would recommend this rental for anyone looking for a convenient base to explore Rhode Island’s beautiful coastline and vibrant towns.

Nice cottage in a beautiful location.

Short walk to the beach and scenic views of Providence river. Nice decks and backyard. Close to restaurants, Providence and 45 minutes to Newport. We enjoyed them all.

Family Friendly Rental

House was comfortable and accomodating with a nice kitchen and great outdoor spaces. Conimicut Park offered a great playground and beach just steps from the house. Lots to do in the surrounding areas, including Providence Children's Museum and Roger William's Zoo/ Carousel Village. Only suggestion would be a bit more cleaning, including dusting of the house for the stay. The grill grates were also rusted and needed to be cleaned before use. Overall great house and time!

This was our second stay at this property and we love it! Centrally located to so many destinations around RI-MA & CT. Beach is right there and the house has everything you need for a short or long stay! Owners are fabulous and are very responsive. Thank you so much!

Nice place, could use some improvements

We have made the host aware of issues we experienced during our stay. Hopefully those changes will be made for future guests. To begin, be prepared to bring all the kitchen basics - seasonings, oils, tinfoil, ziploc bags, etc. And especially don’t forget your paper goods. There was 1 paper towel and toilet paper roll left for 3 people to stay 4 nights. In addition, there are high expectations placed on guests to clean the home given price charged per night. The host relies on previous guests to clean the home. We found this problematic as there were dirty dishes found in the cabinets. Updated cleaning supplies would be helpful to meet that expectation. Although, the home is in a nice location for the beach, there’s not much to do in the local area - traveling out of town to explore would be best. The surrounding neighborhoods can be questionable. Lastly, be aware that there are security cameras on the property as that’s not mentioned in listing. Overall, our stay was enjoyable but the recommendations we made to the host related to cleanliness and accessibility would make the next guests stay even more enjoyable. Graduation Trip

Back porch was lovely and proximity to water refreshing. I will read amenities more carefully next time. No air and windows not able to open on first floor made for a few hot nights. with taking trash cans out for pick up , vacuuming and surface cleaning, not having a dishwasher felt like a bit more of a sacrifice than I anticipated. Beds also are pretty rough on the back. Very quiet neighborhood and plenty of space for the five of us. Would stay again just maybe bring a fan or two along or maybe a portable air conditioner. Would be nice if there was a wash machine available - most full houses have had this in my experience so I don’t look as carefully as I should have when booking.

Loved the Location

The house was really nice, well organized and as described. The location is great and is peaceful neighborhood. The owner was easily reachable and was in constant communication with me and responded to all inquiries expeditiously. There's a lot to see in RI especially Newport. We really enjoyed our first visit to RI and this house added to pleasure of the trip. Highly recommended.

We love this location because we were married across the street at the Chapel by the Sea, which is closed now. The house is wonderful, and the communication with the owners is excellent. Charming seaside getaway!

Such a charming home in a very quaint neighborhood with a beautiful ocean view. We felt very comfortable the moment we walked in the door. Once we settled in, we took a walk to the beach and came back to enjoy a glass of wine on the deck. Because the cottage was so close to many areas, we took some day trips to Block Island and Newport. The one thing I must address are the departure requirements. I have no issues with stripping the beds, and setting the towels to the side to be laundered, but I think that being required to vacuum the floors was just a bit too much to expect since we did have a cleaning fee we had to pay. All in all, the property was charming and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay! Christine was always available to answer any questions we had!

First time in Conimicut

We’ve been to many areas of RI and found our stay here uniquely pleasant. The house was clean, comfortable and roomy. There were many beaches, bike trails and walks available nearby, along with fresh seafood and craft breweries. When you’re ready to pass on traffic, expensive parking at every turn and pretentious establishments, give this spot on the bay a try.
