  • Summary:
    Perfectly situated near Lake George and Saratoga and close to endless entertainment, outdoor adventure, culture and food options. The perfect choice for your Adirondack getaway, ski weekend, holiday gathering, family reunion, fall foliage trip and summer vacation.

    The Space:
    Sleeping Arrangements

    River Street has three separate apartment units that make up the entire house rental. This home is recently renovated and great for large groups that want to vacation together but still have a little bit of their own private space. Please note each apartment unit has its own entrance.

    Apartment 1 has one traditional bedroom and can sleep 4 guests (1 King Size Bedroom, and 1 Sofa Bed in the Living Room).
    Apartment 2 has the same set up of Apartment 1 with one traditional bedroom and can sleep 4 guests (1 King Size Bedroom, and 1 Sofa Bed in the Living Room).
    Apartment 3 is on the second floor and has four traditional bedrooms and can sleep 8 guests (3 King Size Bedrooms, and 2 single beds in their own bedroom).

    Our bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens, and are thoughtfully decorated. There is a Smart TV in each bedroom as well where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account. Bedrooms each have spacious closets with shelving so you can comfortably unpack for your stay. Each room has its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference.

    The Kitchen

    Each apartment unit has its own kitchen, equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a k-Cup machine and coffee pods, but you are welcome to use your own flavors as well. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for such a large group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too.

    Bathrooms

    There is one bathroom each in Units 1&2 of River Street and 2 bathrooms in Unit 3, all of which feature a shower rain head and body sprayers and the bathrooms are all stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer, and super plush towels. Unit 1 also has a large bathtub, perfect for filling with bubbles or salts to kick back and relax.

    In the main entertaining area of each unit is a Living Room next to the kitchen and dining room. Here you will find a comfy sofa, coffee table, and a 65” Smart TV (where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account), perfect to gather around and relax. Also in each unit is a washer and dryer for your use.

    Outdoors

    If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill at each. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out.

    Guest Access:
    Guests can enjoy the privacy of the entire house.

    Getting Around:
    A short walk through the neighborhood to Crandall Park. The bike trail to Lake George is very closeby. Easy walk into downtown Glens Falls where there are fabulous restaurants and things to do.

    Nearest airport: – Saratoga County Airport - 44min drive from the house.

    Nearest train station: Fort Edward– 1hour and 35min drive from the house.

    Nearest bus station: Warrensburg Amtrak Bus Stop – 3min from the house location.

    CHECK IN
    The check-in will be contactless and keyless. Before you arrive, we will send you the code to the door lock.

    PARKING
    Please feel free to utilize the entire driveway for your vehicles throughout the length of your stay. It can hold up to 5 cars. Note that we are not responsible for personal items left in your car.

    HOUSE ACCESS
    The entire house is yours for the length of your stay. Feel free to enjoy the private deck, fire pit, BBQ, and seating areas around the yard.

    OUTSIDE GUESTS
    If you'd like to add an additional guest to the booking, please be sure to add them to the reservation or reach out to Stay at Lina team if your stay has already begun. We can typically accommodate up to the max number of guests noted on the original listing and no more. We cannot offer customer service for extra people who don’t have an official reservation through the platform, and any liability waivers won’t apply. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS

    SECURITY
    Stepping out of the house? Keep your belongings safe and secure by remembering to close and lock all the doors and windows before leaving the property.

    CHECK OUT
    Our check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Please make sure to do the dishes (it’s ok to place the remaining dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle), take the trash out and close the door before leaving. Don’t forget to do a final walk thru of the house to make sure you haven’t left behind any personal items.

    ITEMS LEFT BEHIND
    Please note that we are not responsible for any items left behind. Lina will make every effort to search and find your forgotten items after you check out but we do not guarantee if they can be found.

    FRIENDS OF MOTHER NATURE
    Please note that we are located in the countryside, surrounded by trees and foliage. Although we have regularly scheduled pest control services in and around the home and yard, you are still likely to see a few insects or other living beings from Mother Nature. We ask that you do your best to keep outside doors closed as much as possible to limit the amount of outdoor creatures from sneaking in.

    PETS
    We love pets and allow them in our houses, but please let us know if your are bringing your furry friend(s) along. Please understand that all of our furniture and decor is new and pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. You will be responsible for any visible wear or damage your pets may cause. The maximum number of pets we allow is two.

    REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
    We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, appliances, TVs/media equipment, stereo equipment or pools/spas. Please report any inoperative equipment to us promptly. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. If you demonstrate that the problem persists after being given phone instructions by our team, a maintenance service professional may be dispatched. NO REFUNDS OR RENT REDUCTIONS WILL BE MADE DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURES OR MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OF UTILITIES, MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS OR CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA. WHILE LINA WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REPAIR ANY MAINTENANCE ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER, IT CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ISSUE WILL BE FIXED DURING A GUEST STAY, AS THE COMPANY MAY HAVE TO GO THROUGH HOME WARRANTIES. Lina will always look for alternative solutions to ensure and prioritize guest comfort.

Excellent Arrangement and Property

This property is so flexible. It is perfect for those that want the privacy of their own spaces but still have access to the communal aspects that make VRBOs work well. I had a team stay as they built our new sunglasses store at the Lake George Outlets and this worked perfectly from all angles, including plenty of space to park. Perfect stay!

I waited for a week before writing this. The place is decent and can be great for large multiple families. There were a few things that diminshed the value and when I nicely advised management of what I considered negative areas I was responded to flippantly and nonresponsively - in my opinion. There was a significant leak in shower of Unit 3 - traversing all way across bathroom floor by end of shower, there were no washcloths, the TV system was complicated to find "regular" news or shows - there were 2 windows side by side with no coverings (mini-blinds or curtains ) that allowed sun to blare in and heat up the place and afforded no privacy - the same for windows in the bathroom on street level. When I advised of this I was told they don't provide washcloths, that there were pics showing no window coverings and that I hadn't reported the leak in time for them to fix it - I do not fault them the leak as that happens but when you pay a premium amount you expect washcloths and window coverings on all windows and do not feel you should have to hang sheets over windows for privacy - considering this with the fact that the house is a few feet from the road and has a lot of early morning rush hour traffic that can be heard and it is actually 20 minutes from the lake detracts from rating the place higher - with a little attention to detail and better response to customer feedback the place could be a 4 or higher!
