    Guests love gathering in the spacious living room, where family and friends can comfortably spend time together after a day of outdoor adventures. Step outside to enjoy private nature trails, mountain streams, and wildlife right outside your door.

    The property offers plenty of activities for all ages, including:

    Horseshoes and quoits.
    Tree swings and large slides.
    Fish pond with a peaceful waterfall.
    Charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.
    Large fire pit for evening gatherings under the stars. Firewood provided.

A lovely property for our family vacation. We had 8 adults and 9 children and all had plenty of space. The cabin was very clean and neat. The children loved all the outside entertainment. They played nonstop. We had a great time and hope to return someday.

We had a small friend/family get together and this house was absolutely perfect for what we needed. There is so much space to hang out and relax. We made a couple big meals and the kitchen is well equipped for it. The kitchen and dining area layout works great for a group. The kids had a wonderful time playing outside. Check in/out was super easy. This was our groups second time staying at this property and we would definitely come back again and again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the open living/kitchen/dining area. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play spaces. And the well-stocked kitchen made it so nice for a holiday get-together.

We had a great time at this property. We had 3 families totaling 6 adults and 7 children. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Note, that one of the queen bedrooms is on the opposite side of the kitchen from the rest of the bedrooms. It worked out for us, but something to be aware of. The kids (ages 2-11) had a GREAT time in the stream and playing on the pirate ship, swings and slides. There were a LOT of toys and games for the kids. The fire pit was a great central place for the adults to hang out and still be able to see the kids when we were around the house. The property is well isolated and we could let the kids explore and play without worry.The stream is about a 2-3 minute walk down the trail. The kids made their own fishing poles with sticks, strings and cups and enjoyed catching little minnows, bugs and crayfish. We lost power due to a thunderstorm, but that's the weather. There were plenty of buckets and we got water from the stream to be able to flush toilets and put out the campfire at the end of the evening. Power came back on overnight and we were good the next morning.

Family trip

Our entire family enjoyed this property. The little ones loved the wooden ship and the adults loved walking the property and sitting by the awesome fire pit. There was plenty of space inside for the 15 of us. We just loved this place and cant wait to rebook!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

Our Troop had an awesome stay at the Weaver cabin. Spacious and secluded, it was a great place to relax and unwind after a full day of skiing at Whitetail Mountain. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with for our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend getaway!

Thank you Kevin, had an amazing time with the family! Peaceful getaway! Great for the kids & adults. Easy to book, communication great with owner. Drive to Gettysburg & DC with in 2 hours depending on traffic. Recommend this property 100% for large families with kids!

Family vacation

The property was well maintained and plenty spacious for our large family. The kitchen was well stocked and the kids loved all the outdoor activities. Highly recommend if you want a trip away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life.
