Charming new half-timbered house on the lake in the idyllic Münsterland region

The picturesque lakeside village of Hörster Heide is located in the beautiful Münsterland region, surrounded by forests and fields. Our cozy half-timbered house, completed just at the end of 2022, is situated right on the edge of the forest at the end of a cul-de-sac and offers 85 square meters of living space as well as a fully fenced, sunny garden. The lake is just a few steps away and can be walked around.

In the summer, enjoy cool drinks on the sunny terrace or under the covered outdoor seating area, which includes a Weber gas grill and a bike shed. Lie back on one of the sun loungers with a book, gaze into the woods, and listen to the birds chirping.
During the cooler months, the wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere.

On the first floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a guest restroom, and an open-concept living/dining area with a wood-burning stove, a wooden dining table, and a romantic view of the forest. An additional sofa (sleeper) invites you to relax. The exposed-beam oak ceiling further enhances the cozy atmosphere.

Upstairs, you’ll find a bathroom with a large shower and a view of the lake, the master bedroom with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), and another bedroom with two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm) that can be pushed together to form another double bed.

The outdoor area offers two parking spaces.

The accommodations are the ideal starting point for extended bike tours (100 Castles Bike Route, Ems Bike Path) through the beautiful Münsterland region. Or take day trips to Münster, the most livable city (27 km), to the equestrian hub of Warendorf (10 km), or to the pilgrimage site of Telgte (10 km).

We’re happy to provide baby and toddler equipment (travel crib, high chair, safety gate) free of charge upon request.

We’re happy to assist you in person on-site with any questions or concerns.
