Experience the charm of Walloon Lake Village in our beautiful, cozy cabin in one of the most beautiful areas in Northern Michigan complete with a secluded backyard to relax with campfire, hammock, hot tub and space for yard games within walking distance from three restaurants, park with pickle ball and play ground, river for fishing, beach, Walloon General Store and million dollar sunsets. Hiking and 4x4 trails are minutes away as well. Snowmobile trail access is across the street. Located less than 10 minutes from Boyne City and Petoskey. Pets are welcome for a fee.

My girlfriend, golden retriever and I all had a wonderful time here. The hosts were very nice, quick to respond, and helpful with suggestions in the area. The cabin was clean and cozy plus being able to taking our golden with made it all so simple and welcoming. And after a long day of skiing who can pass up a well-kept hot tub. For us, it was perfect for our ski trip to Boyne Mtn.

Host was great, very communicative. The home is cozy and perfect for 4-5 people. Amenities were great, I really appreciated having access to do laundry. Perfectly located, highly recommend Barrelback in Walloon for a place to eat. 10 minute easy drive to Boyne Mountain. I highly recommend this cabin.

Easy check in and out, great heating and house layout for our family, straight shot to Boyne skiing (10min), good backyard for our dog, cute downtown within walking dist, and frozen lake for good walking/play area.

Very clean beautiful place with all the amenities. There is no large bed. I was expecting more privacy. The neighbors are surrounding the place. I did not use the hot tub due to the construction next door and the complete lack of any privacy. I really wanted to enjoy the hot tub. The deck faces the main busy road.

Everything was pretty straight forward to navigate, tidy enough. Floors could’ve been swept a little better. A couple times I had to fight to take a wrapper or item from my dog that was found under the furniture, so a little frustrating. A lot of noises at night took time to get used to (heater/ hot tub running). Super cute and cozy.

The cabin was perfect!!! Very clean and organized. Exactly has described on the VRBO website. Owners very responsive and helpful. Kitchen well stocked and great laundry facilities. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day of skiing. The beds were comfortable and the living room very cozy! We will come back!

Fantastic cabin, and the owners have not forgotten a thing! I can’t believe the amount of times my dream girl said “oh wow, they even have…(insert name of item here)” They were very communicative and attentive. A beautiful property, our only regret was we didn’t have more time to spend on it. It’s centrally located to so many great things to do. Our last night, we walked down to a little park on the lake for a completely wonderful sunset. Thank you both for your hospitality, and property! This will be the first place we look at whenever we come back to the area!

Northern Michigan Getaway

The cabin was everything we thought it would be. The surrounding area was beautiful. Lots of charming towns and lots of things to do. We enjoyed every moment there and can only recommend it for future visitors.

The cabin was in great condition and had all the essentials provided. When we arrived it also felt very welcoming and cozy. No issues at all, though the owners seemed like they would have been very responsive if there would have been.Excellent location for enjoying the Petoskey and Charlevoix area. Walloon Lake itself is also a beautiful little town.

Charming and Clean Cabin, Great Location!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. It could not have been better! The cabin is beautiful and very clean. With charming decor and an up-to-date kitchen and bathroom, it feels like a home away from home. The location is also perfect. Coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurants and a park are within walking distance. It’s a short drive to Petoskey and Charlevoix. We even took a drive up to Mackinaw City to visit the Dark Sky Park. Had a wonderful time hanging out at the Cabin, making s'mores using the fire pit, watching movies and playing games. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for helping us have such an awesome vacation!
