This home is incredible. Plenty of room for everyone, well cared for, and absolutely gorgeous. They supplied pretty much everything you would need which is rare for rental homes. You really only need groceries. Our only regret was not staying longer. We will be booking this property again!

Wonderful large family gathering

Superbly tended and stocked lake house. We were 5 siblings plus their families (& Grandma) reunited for a fabulous weekend. Rented a pontoon from Hiawatha Beach Rentals. Brought our food from Costco & cooked in. Lots of games & activities. We brought cornhole & fishing poles.
Plenty of seating for the campfire, including small child seats from the garage. Wood provided!
Small sandy area for the littles. Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayaks.
Sunset football games; awesome.

Beautiful cabin

There was 12 of us! Plenty of parking for 6 vehicles being we are all adults! Plenty of space inside cabin as well! Our sunsets were amazing and the yard toys made the vacation even better! Their kitchen is fully stocked just like home plus a lot more! We had a great stay and enjoyed connecting with family as a family!

Best fishing trip every. Communication was great. David went out of his way to make trip go smooth. Beautiful cabin (estate) on the lake. Boat rental let us tie up on our dock for the week. Highly Rated. Would stay again!

Wonderful Weekend

This place is even better than the pictures! Our family was there to celebrate two birthdays, and the location couldn't have been better. Access to the lake via your own dock was a great perk, highly recommend renting a pontoon for your stay in the summer months. We would love to come back for the winter sometime!

A relaxing week

Great house and amenities. Dock area is a little weedy for swimming, but the paddle board and kayaks were used quite a bit. Advance notice that the boat ramp down the road at the Mom & Pop resort was off limits would have been nice. It's 15 minutes to the public launch across the lake and could have launched that more efficiently if we'd known we had to go there ahead of time. Some type of shade or awning on the deck overlooking the lake would be a good addition. The afternoon/evening sun gets pretty hot out there for drinks or eating dinner.

Very enjoyable stay

The property worked very well for us as parents entertaining our four families of children and grandchildren. It is a beautiful lake home. The neighbors were quiet and there was very little boat traffic.

Gorgeous house but remote

The house is beautiful, spacious and well maintained and the gardens are amazing- perfect for outdoor activities. For us, it was a bit too remote - the closest shops were in Walker, a 25m drive away. Also there a few derelict (occupied) homes nearby a quite a few guard dogs that made walks from the property a bit scary for our family. We ended up driving 12m to the closest bike path for walks. The water sports and lake access are spectacular though and David was very helpful in organizing kayaks and paddleboards. Overall a great spot for water-based activities.

I can’t imagine a better property on Leech Lake! Our family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, kids) throughly enjoyed this property during our July stay. Not only is the property amazing, but David is an exceptional host!
