Or, staff simply didn’t want to “refresh” our rooms during a five night stay. - A/C, it was 90* out & the AC in the room was not consistent. "Carpet was old and needed replacement and cleaning. Quite smelly Once I mentioned to the front desk, they got maintenance on it and reported it to corporate. Needs some updates. Could not use the gym or pool area Gym smelled bad not cleaned though lots of housekeeping around and the pool water was and hot tub were merky. It was also insane that they were charging for unsecured parking that used to be free."

"The entire experience was horrible. Rude staff who pushed me out in the morning without giving me a chance to speak. I was going to get another two nights out of pure need but it was so not worth it I literally went and slept outside on the ground and had a better time. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to and they have roaches and bed bugs. "

"Our room is shockingly awful. The appliances are dirty, primarily outside but I wouldn't use the microwave with a 10 foot pole. I always thought Hampton Inn and Suites was an upscale hotel. This looks like a Motel 6 or Super 8. I guess since it is pet friendly, it's assumed pet owners are dirty."

We took the lamp from the second room back to the first room and I complemented the desk clerk on her patience but then she said "I can't keep opening up new rooms for you". "I liked the quiet location. I didn’t like that one of the lamps in the room was broken ( from the base) causing it to lean and I came out of my room to go get some ice and I was informed that they don’t have an ice machine."
