For easy outdoor flow, unwind on the 2 decks - enjoying a morning coffee on the east facing area and a wine and BBQ on the west facing area that is accessed through the french doors. This is an ideal spot for laid back holiday dining, or simply sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet!

Everything you need for a self-catered, refreshing break away is on hand - stay on site and soak up the serenity, or stroll a few minutes down the street for direct access to the most crystal clear, free flowing river you would ever want to fish or walk along. The Waitahanui River originates from springs at the base of the Kaimanawa Ranges in the Central Plateau, and you will feel especially lucky to have the famous 'Rock Pool' within 5 minutes walk of Bellbird Cottage. There are also many easy walking tracks alongside the river - the cycle and walking tracks take you all the way to Wharewaka from this lovely spot. Plus, the Whakapapa Ski Field is just a 45 minute drive away for winter adventures!

Due to the location of the property, the mobile service can cut out in bad weather.

A heat pump is available in the kitchen, and a small oil column heater is available in the bedroom to keep you warm.

While there is no oven at the property, there is a convection oven with two top elements, plus a microwave.

As there is no railing on the deck, this property may not be suitable for young children.
