Comfortable Townhome in Waikoloa Resort - Walk to Shops!

Two-story townhome located in a prime location on the golf fairways at Waikoloa Resort, close to the best shopping, restaurants and beaches in South Kohala. This charming three bedroom property has a spacious living room with high ceilings, a full kitchen and a lanai with mountain views. The master bedroom, located upstairs, has a private lanai with mountain views, a king size bed, a flatscreen TV and a large master bathroom with both a bathtub and shower.

The second bedroom, located upstairs, has two twin beds and a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. The third bedroom, located downstairs, has a queen bed and a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. The property does offer garage access - the garage is very narrow and only suitable for parking small vehicles. There are additional visitor parking stalls nearby.

Located near the Fairway Villas amenity center, which has a pool, spa, fitness center and BBQ pavilion, D6 is the perfect rental for visitors looking to be close to all the action on the Big Island's Gold Coast.

The place was really nice, in a great location with walking distance beach, restaurants, grocery store, and cinema. The rooms were really nice, and the kitchen was well equipped - perfectly fine for cooking at home. The community has community bbq places available at the pool area.

Hawaii wedding and super condo!

This condo was the best! It was in a great location and very walkable to the 2 shopping centers, the ocean, golfing, petroglyphs, the pool, you name it in Waikoloa Beach Resort. Parking is in a single car garage which I recommend you back into. It was very tight for the mini van that we rented. The garage however is great if you have golf clubs or snorkel gear, which we did. The owner even has boogie boards and beach chairs to use - yay! The condo itself is very pretty, spacious, and well laid out. The living room/kitchen was light and airy, and looked out on the golf course and mountain. The kitchen was really well stocked and we were able to cook everything we wanted. Lots of space for multiple people in the kitchen as well. 2 dining areas that seated 6 (one in, one on the patio). The bedrooms were average sized with comfortable beds. The one bedroom upstairs was huge with a giant bathroom to go with it. There was even plenty of toilet paper and toweling for our stay, and a good stock of pool towels.It was so nice to have every last detail taken care of. Thank you for the enjoyable stay. The condo is about 1/2 hour from Kona. It's in a pretty good location for exploring the island. Hilo is about an hour and half away. Honoka'a is closer and worth visiting along with a chocolate farm tour. Plenty of nearby beaches for snorkeling and one right at A- bay. Lava Lava restaurant down by the beach has a great vibe and is worth checking out.

Good location next to marketplaces

Our stay had its ups and downs. Upon arrival, we noticed the cleaning crew rushing to finish, leaving behind a lingering smoke/vape smell in the kitchen that took about a day to dissipate with airing out. Although management offered to send someone with a freshener, we preferred not to have kids playing around chemicals. We also found random bits of trash under beds and furniture, and some kitchen items were not properly cleaned, but nothing too terrible. The lanai furniture was dusty and had some rips, so we opted not to use them during our stay. However, the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and a random assortment of pantry goods, though it lacked some basics like pepper or sugar. One major downside was the loud AC unit in the master bedroom, which required earplugs for a good night’s sleep. It’s also above and open to the living room with plantation shutters to block noise. On the positive side, the pool and grills in the facility were enjoyable amenities. One important note: kids under 12 are not allowed in the hot tub, which we wish had been clarified before booking. Overall, while we might explore other options first, we wouldn’t rule out staying here again if we were in the area.

Great Property large and practical

Had a great day and a very large condo with lots of options for larger family. I think they recently redid the carpets and interior, seems like it's in great shape despite some of the older negative reviews I saw online. I stayed at Several of these types of properties in the area and this seems to be right there at the top. Check in and check out is easy all with codes to get into the community and front door. Nice to have a few beach chairs boogie boards snorkels beach towels stuff like that included in the garage.

Christmas vacay

This was a nice place to enjoy the holidays with our adult kids. The location was great, near shops and infinity pool. The property was equipped with almost everything we needed. There were also some basic spices there too. Knives were super dull so bring a sharpener. The place had plenty of room for our family, as well as our friends to come for dinner ( that were staying in another unit). The garage was not big enough for the suv we rented, but we had no problem finding parking. Overall, very good experience.

Great location but not a great unit

At first glance it seemed too good to be true but within a few minutes of being inside the unit we noticed how run down and filthy the unit was. The drain in the master shower was clogged so we got to shower in 2" of water the first few nights until maintenance could come out (yuck!). The master shower glass looks frosted but its actually soap scum build up. The master bath sinks are slow to drain. The master tub faucet needs to be replaced. The ventilation ducting is so filthy there is build up outside of each of them on the walls/ceiling making you wonder what you are breathing in. There are SEVERAL light bulbs out throughout the whole unit. The AC in the master bedroom is so loud when it turns on it sounds like a jet engine. The carpet in the living room is filthy and stained. The windows inside and out are filthy. Just not what we were expecting for the amount of $$$$$$$ we paid to stay here. The location was great. If we ever go to Hawaii again we would stay in this area but not in this unit.

Exactly as described. Great location, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen which is all you need in Hawaii. As many have noted the carpets are tired and need replacing to truly feel clean when you first arrive.

Beautiful home; cleaning company could use a little improvement

This home is absolutely beautiful and situated perfectly in Waikoloa. We stayed here with our two children and their spouses. The common area is a lovely open space and there was enough indoor and outdoor dining space for all of us. The kitchen is well stocked, clean, and bright. The master bedroom was perfect and spacious. Our only issue came when our children and their spouses arrived. We arrived a day earlier and did not think we needed to check the cleanliness of their rooms and bathrooms as the rest of the home was well cleaned. In the upstairs bathroom my son found what appeared to be beard shavings on top of and in the sink along with a pair of contact lenses. The shower had clumps of long black hair stuck to the shower wall. In the downstairs guest bathroom we found similar clumps of hair stuck to the shower wall and the tub appeared to not have been cleaned in some time. The shower curtain was so moldy we replaced it. I contacted property management who got back to me several days later. They simply said they would let the cleaning people know. No one ever came to clean so we bought some cleaning supplies and scrubbed the showers ourselves. We have stayed at Fairway Villas previously and never had this issue before, so we are chalking this up as a fluke. All that being said, we would likely stay here again, but would make sure the unit is properly cleaned before our guests arrive.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

We selected this property for it's bedroom count and convenient location. The bedrooms were very comfortable for 1 couple, 2 young kids, and a grandpa who needed single level accessibility. He was able to use the downstairs bed/bath safely. The home was very clean with comfortable beds and nice linens. The unit was well stocked with all the necessities including beach towels and a few beach supplies. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware but had no basic provisions as some properties do. Bring your own salt & pepper. The unit is conveniently located very close to shopping, restaurants, and the BEACH which is a perfect beach for young kids. Note that parking for this unit is in a single car garage which is a bit tricky for a larger vehicle. There is very limited guest parking at this facility. We had a ford explorer which required all passengers to exit the vehicle prior to parking in the garage. It was very tight. The unit next door was undergoing some remodeling construction during business hours which was a bit noisy if outside on the patio during the day but I imagine this is a short term issue. All in all, a very comfortable unit and I would recommend it.

Clean, spacious and modern. Close to shopping and beach. My kids loved having the pool during the day and roaming the huge golf course at night. Highly recommend!
