Beachfront Studio located on the 5th floor overlooking Makaha Beach.

  • Beautifully remodeled studio unit that sleeps 2 people. Full kitchen with granite counter tops. Full bathroom with tub/shower. Queen size Murphy wall bed for convenience, Rattan couch, 40' screen TV, DVD, and FREE WIFI. All linens, towels, beach towels, dishes, pots and utensils provided. Just bring your clothes and food. On site laundry and BBQ also available on property.

    Studio is located in the Makaha Shores which is located right on Makaha surfing beach. Come for big winter surf or swimming during the summer months. Enjoy breath taking views of the ocean and mountains right from your lanai. Makaha is also known for the occasional ocean life vistors ranging from Monk Seals, dolphins and whales (winter months).

We loved our stay! Super clean studio apartment. This unit overlooks the beach perfectly with easy access. They have plenty of storage and a few extra things like beach towels, bags, snorkel, and beach umbrella that came in handy. We had a great time! Contact with the host was easy!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The beach and surrounding area is beautiful. This was our 3rd time staying in the area due to the friendliness of the locals. The fact that we are away from the touristy areas is another bonus. We also enjoyed the music that was played at the beach during the day. The condo was clean, had beautiful ocean views, and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. However, we do wish we could have closed the lanai doors when music was playing really late at night but we had no a/c which meant no closing of doors without suffocating from the heat. Air conditioning would be a great addition to the condo. Would I recommend the condo? Yes, as long as you can deal with no a/c or sometimes loud music at night. The condo is a great value for the money.Robin HP

We had an amazing 11 day stay. Room was perfect had everything we needed to do any cooking. Beautiful view of the beach and water. Sunsets from the beach were amazing. Loved how it was away from the main city. But stores were just a 5 min drive away.

Wonderful

Makaha Shores is great place to visit and all we had hoped. It was a very clean, safe property, nice warm pool, friendly neighbors and a nice BBQ area. Ming was very helpful and quick to reply when we had a question. The condo had everything we needed, was very clean, and the beach/ocean view was fabulous! A little bit of paradise at a very reasonable price. We hope to return for sure!

Nice studio, well located.

This lodging has been very convenient for us. The description is accurate. The studio is well equipped. Shopping for food is not far, at Wai'anae. Communicating with the owner/rental agency prior to coming has been difficult.

Makaha Shores

As a first time user of VRBO I wasn’t familiar with the process and how things would turn out. I’m happy to say everything went well and would do it again. The condo was perfect for me and me young daughter. She enjoyed her trip and so did I.

As expected

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for my husband and myself. We never did receive our check-in info prior to arriving, however as soon as I sent a message a response was immediately received with easy check in instructions and an apology. We have previously stayed on this side of the island so knew what to expect; travel times to other parts of the island. It is out of the hustle of Waikiki, which we appreciate. Great ocean views and access to the beach. Everyone at the complex were very nice; staff and local residents:)

Our second time there. We stayed 7 nights. It is a small efficiency but it is well equipped. We like the location and it is reasonably priced. Being just above the beach is great. Usually the beach is very quiet but there can be exceptions. Sunday of Labor Day week end, we had loud music below our window for the whole afternoon. At dark it stopped but it was replaced by an even louder music till about 11 pm. The next morning, music started further on the beach at 7 am.
Seen from the top of Lahilahi, Makaha beach is in the back. The building can be seen at the base of the cliff. In front is the end of Papaoneone beach (Princess).

Ming has been a great host, on prior visits however, I had to ask for Check-in instructions twice before getting an answer. The condo is getting "tired". Torn uppostery, Dead Microwave, sliding doors and screens that had to be manhandled and forced open and shut. I reported the dead microwave on day 2... and was promised replacing it in a day or two... 10 days later, never heard another word.
