Unique Western Flair, Close to EXTRACO, SILOS, Shopping, EATERIES, 3min LAKE!

Close to Silos and Magnolia Table,3 minutes from Lake Waco and close to so much more! This home has been beautifully redone to open up and recreate lighter atmosphere and seating area, with a unique western flair that will attract any gunslinger or just any common folk guests! There is no need to bring your pistols though, the neighborhood is nice and friendly! New heat and AC system installed July 2023. So, lots of cold air or heat! This is 3/2 bath home has extras, tons of seating space, dining bar will seat 6 and there is TV trays for addition eating area! The Living area with seat 9! The beds are so comfy, you won't want to get up, They all have 3 inch memory foam toppers on them! everything is new here at the Wild Wild West, sheets , bedding, towels, rugs and so much more! I went over the top to give you the best experience ever! I have loaded the bathrooms with cotton balls, Q tips, make-up remover cloths, Shampoos and conditioners. There is first aid supplies on hand as well. The kitchen has all the right stuff, including condiments, sugar, spices, The Washer and dryer, has washing detergent, scent pods, dryer sheets too! Motion lights will keep you out of the dark every step of the way! The nice original hard wood floors fall right into place with the western décor and theme! The backyard is spacious and inviting, with handmade birdhouses, feeders and birdbaths! There is seating for 12. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and a 10-cup coffee pot as well, coffee and cream is furnished, along with sugar and Stevia. The furnishings include an actual cow skin rug, leather chairs and a leather sofa! The kitchen has lots of glasses and dishes for anyone who wished to stay home and cook!
If there is something you need or if we are out of something mentioned here, please let me know mid stay so we can drop it by!

The Wild Wild West is pet friendly, but you must message me prior to the reservation to get permission to bring your pet. If we find excess dog hair to the property, it could result in an excess cleaning fee post stay.

Electrical issues— lights and lamps flickered entire time. Difficult to put a 1000 piece puzzle together w poor lighting. Couldn’t watch our college football game — television would not work. Maintenance man came but also could not get it working. Next maintenance person would not come until afternoon of the day we left that morning. Also was a power outage- not their fault but house became too hot to have dinner in. Had to go out to eat.

Great location for our activities at Extraco. We enjoyed plenty of seats to lounge in the living room after a long day and the covered patio out back allowed us to bring our Blackstone and cook meals to help save money on dining out.

We were looking forward to our stay at this home as the pictures looked charming. Upon arriving, the house was hot and the temps were set at 85 degrees. It took hours before we finally felt relief. There were pockets of trash laying around and cobwebs/dust were seen throughout the home. We were a bit disappointed to find the home in this state. It was hard to overlook the outdated fixtures and appearance. The next morning, we could not get the hot water to work so we all took cold showers. The toilet in the master bathroom didn’t flush well and it did not get any cooler there. Lastly, the home did not offer a dining room for the family to have a meal. We ended up not cooking and having to eat out. For the price we paid, I felt we could have gotten a better experience at a hotel.

The house wasn't clean! There were dead insects, trash under a bed, and dirty sheets and pillow cases , both on the beds and in the closet. The fire alarm was missing, light bulbs were blown out. The bathroom supplies were incomplete there was shampoo but no conditioner.The listing said 2 twin beds but it was actually a twin and trundle.Overall, not a place we would recommend.

Magnolia, Silo's trip!

We wanted to celebrate my Mother-in-laws 80 birthday with a trip to Waco. This house was great and just minutes way from everything we planned on visiting. Everyone was impressed with tge house decor. I would recommend this house if you planning on visiting the Magnolia Silo's

Waco Fall 2024

The home was attractively decorated, very comfortable and exactly what we expected. There was a little confusion about the internet; the instructions given were outdated but the issue was quickly resolved. We enjoyed it there so much we actually lazed around the place one full day. If you are looking for someplace that feels homey, this is it.

Nightmare

The owner is nice, but a poor business owner. Check in was 4pm. We got there at 7pm. The beds were unmade and unlaundered. Toilets were dirty. Towels were in a heap by the laundry area. It took a bit to get a hold of the owner.

Not what was promised

Cleanliness was not good, no breakfast, no spa, towels left in washer , was trying to do routine maintenance on house while we were there , backyard was manageable. Best thing of this property was the location and was quiet.

Not what it appears in pictures. Backyard was a pit. Mosquito infested. Curtain rod in living room broken. Lots of clutter. Hot water tank sounds like tennis shoes in a dryer. We left a day early☹️

Unprofessional Property Mngr

I advised we would arrive in the middle of the night or early morning. We arrived and NOTHING had been cleaned for a minimum of 2 weeks. I gave them a chance to clean it and can back ro inspect 2 1/2 hours later when they told me it was ready and it was still not even vacuumed as well as other problems. We did not stay and the the property manager texted me an extremely nasty text attacking my character and making assumptions! It i never inyended on staying, i never would have given them a chance to make it right and waist more of my time! The amenities, wine, cheese and chocolates, where also no longer offered yet they were still listed on the listing! Beautiful older home that would have been delightful if it had been cleaned before we arrived as well as after....

I had a funeral last minute in town and had to find a quick place to shower and get ready! I got a good rate and a speedy response from the owner! Place was cleaned spotless and smelled amazing.

Great space for visiting but listing description is inaccurate

The family room is great for visiting and if the weather had been better, the backyard would have been great to use. The water is hot and the pressure is great. The A/C cooled the space on a muggy, hot weekend. We planned to cook in. Would like to have had measuring cups, colander, etc. My issue with the home is the listing description regarding what is provided. The listing says everything is new, but the towels are quite old, or at least worn. Would have liked washcloths and found them on top of the dryer as we were leaving. No make up remover cloths. No shampoo/conditioner in one of the bathrooms. No breakfast bars, cookies, bagel chips. The laundry detergent bowl was empty. While I didn’t need it, no bottle of wine. There was one k cup for the coffee, no creamer and no Stevia and sugar. Fortunately, I didn’t bank of these items being there, but do want others to know so they plan accordingly. The stove didn’t start and we never figured out how to turn on the oven. She did respond to the stove request promptly and suggested we light it manually. Fortunately we had a lighter. We had reached out to confirm a grill and learned there was one but a cleaning fee to use it. Didn’t think to ask the size. It’s a very small tailgate grill. It would have taken forever to grill our fajita meat. HEB to the rescue! The smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector is laying on top of the fridge. Some information says check out at 10 and some 11. Disappointment is the listing description.
