Incredibly walkable but be advised the surrounding streets are cobble/stone in case you are wheeling luggage’s or requesting a ride share. It may be that you need to walk to the nearest street. Initially difficult to find, driving in was a very tight squeeze with a mid-sized SUV, but once we were in, we found the office and gate no problem, and the staff were very helpful. I believe the owner's name is Guila - she is extremely accommodating, hard-working, and prepares a full breakfast with eggs, fruit, pasties, etc for all of the guests every morning. "Views are amazing from the roof! Only gave it 4 stars because the rooms are not as great as pictured BUT they are very clean. FYI: no elevator and lots of stairs so be prepared to lug your bags!"

"Excellent location . Beautiful hotel, keeping the old building base with modern rooms and classic furniture. Loved the intimate breakfast in the garden. Fresh baked cakes many choices everyday. "Fantastic location with easy walkable distances to all major attractions. We are a couple in their mid 60’s-70. Restaurants and shopping galore right outside the door. Building was super quiet without road or pedestrian noise. Rooms were clean with modern amenities. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Great find!"

"We arrived at 930 pm down a very narrow city road and saw an imposing old door as our arrival point. We sent a text to the hotel to say we were outside and Francisco joined momentarily. Once we got into the building - a renovated palace and shown to our room any fears we may have had were quickly dismissed. The room was spacious and the bathroom and shower were magnificent Francisco and Giorgio were great hosts"
