Stunning 3 Bedroom Townhouse, near the pool, located in the views, Salema

This superbly appointed 3 bed townhouse is set on a small exclusive 4* development called The View, which overlooks the picturesque fishing village of Salema on the Western Algarve.

Finished to a high specification and fitted with all modern-day appliances and contemporary furnishings, the property is ideally positioned overlooking the pool complex (one main pool and two child-friendly pools). This private complex comprises of just 55 deluxe villas and townhouses.

The property benefits from a reverse layout, with the three bedrooms (the master bedroom has an en-suite) and family bathroom downstairs and the large, open-plan living room and kitchen upstairs. Off the main living and dining area, there is a large balcony overlooking the pool and with stunning views of Salema beach in the distance.

The View resort offers numerous facilities including full air conditioning, under floor heating, Wi-Fi and internet TV, with access to UK and Portuguese free view channels.

The View is a very child-friendly resort, attracting families of all ages.

Guests staying at The View can also enjoy discounted green fees at the nearby famous Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort and the use of its superb facilities. Some facilities are only available during peak season and local charges apply.

The fabulous beach, restaurants and amenities of Salema are only a short stroll down a gentle/steep slope (depending on which route you take!). Public transport is good, but a car may be useful.

Located in the Western Algarve, Salema is widely regarded as home to one of the best family-oriented beaches in Europe. The sun-drenched coastline is perfect for outdoor pursuits such as walking, tennis, horse riding and bird watching. It is a haven for water sports and with an almost tropical climate, you are spoilt with over 3000 hours of sunshine every year.

Salema is a small traditional Western Algarve fishing village nestled in a secluded bay with calm blue waters surrounded by dramatic sun baked ochre cliffs. It is midway between Sagres and Lagos, just over an hour’s drive from Faro International Airport. The wide sheltered bay leaves the long stretch of beach ideal for swimming and water sports. With "blue flag" status, the beach is regularly voted as one of the best in Portugal.

Boasting several bars and fabulous restaurants, Salema is 'far from the madding crowd' and ideal for couples or families that are seeking a more authentic Algarve experience.

The historical town of Lagos is just 15 minutes’ drive away and is well worth a visit. Lagos is the third largest town in the Algarve and has a multitude of restaurants, cafes, bars and one of Portugal's best stocked fish markets!

We had a lovely holiday, having stayed at a different property in The View 7 years ago, it was as good if not better than we remembered. Salema is a lovely fishing village that hasn’t been over spoiled by tourism, fantastic beach there and lots of others close by that were almost deserted. Lots of Great restaurants in Salema, recommendations from the hosts. The house was clean, tidy, well equipped and we definitely will try to book again!

Ruhig, sauber und unkompliziert.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Anreise war durch den Schlüsseltresor unkompliziert. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Einzig die Waschmaschine dürfte von besserer Qualität sein, der Griff zum Öffnen fällt garantiert nächstens ab! Nach einer Woche wurden die Betten frisch bezogen, die Handtücher ausgewechselt und die Abfalleimer geleert, dieser Service hat uns sehr gefreut, danke! Es war sehr ruhig in der Anlage. Das Meer und das Zentrum mit vielen guten Restaurants erreicht man in 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Im Gesamten sehr zu empfehlen.

Wonderful Salema

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Salema. Communication with our host before arrival was very clear and honest. We had been to Salema before so we’re aware of the climb back up from the beach. This year however it felt even harder, and that probably colours my review. The property was clean, but a mop and bucket left in the property gave it a slightly musty smell when we arrived. We moved this outside and that largely solved the problem! The local management were helpful, friendly and responsive to queries we had. The kitchen equipment was basic, but this is probably more a reflection of how spoilt I am at home! I learnt years ago that it’s always worth taking my own sharp knife to any rental property! All in all we have a lovely relaxed week enjoying the pool and the beach, the golf course and the cocktail bars and restaurants. We would return! Thank you

Traumhafter Urlaub an der Algarve in traumhaftem Objekt

Das Objekt ist wie beschrieben und einfach wunderschön, ruhig gelegen, super ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Anlage, in welcher das Objekt liegt, ist sauber und in keinster Weise voll - teilweise waren wir fast allein am Pool - wahrscheinlich vermieten nicht alle Eigentümer ihre Objekte. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter (in englisch) vor und während des Aufenthalts war einfach grandios. Auf alle Fragen wurde umgehend ausführlich und geduldig geantwortet und sofern vor Ort Handlungsbedarf notwendig war, wurde dieser umgehend taggleich organisiert. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Stränden der Algarve, wobei v.a. die Westküste sehr zu empfehlen ist. Ganz klare und uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Aufteilung der Räume ist sehr gut durchdacht. Schöner Blick und Garten.

Dieses Haus eignet sich hervorragend für Familien, aber auch für Freunde, die entspannt zusammen sein wollen. Check in und out ist sehr unkompliziert. Der Grill auf der Terrasse ist ein extra Genuss. Wir waren ganz alleine in der Anlage und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Fantastic villa. Perfect location and stunning views!

This was our third trip to The View, Salema and each time it gets better and better. This villa is perfectly situated by the pool and is great for families. The pool is great and was always very quiet - we could always get loungers. The beach of Salema is a short walk and is beautiful. Enough restaurants to enjoy but others can be found a short drive away in Lagos. We did sea fishing, dolphin watching, sea kayaking and a visit to Slide and Splash. A brilliant holiday!

The villa is in a wonderful location and overlooks the pool.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in The View, coming back to Salema most years since 1999 because it’s such a delightful, unspoilt location. The villa is well equipped, was lovely and clean when we arrived and the gardens are beautifully maintained. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing, easy holiday and ideal for families. The pool is lovely and very well maintained and it was never too busy. Salema is a wonderful little fishing village in walking distance from the villa, with plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from, definitely need to book in the summer holidays! It’s a bit of a steep walk back from Salema that never seems to get any easier, but good to walk off your meal. Steve was very helpful with any questions I had while we were staying in the Villa and always responds very quickly! We will definitely be returning for many years to come.

Superschönes Ferienziel

Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und neu. Pool für Kinder großartig geeignet. Unser Haus war riesengroß und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Service bei aufkommenden Fragen und Hilfe waren prompt und freundlich. Wunderschöne Landschaft, karg und urwüchsig . Die Strände sind zum Teil versteckt und einen kurzen Fußmarsch entfernt. Aber alles sehr wild romantisch. Klasse Ferien!!!!

Fantastic property ,spacious and well maintained and equiped. Right next to the swimming pool, we had the pool to ourselves most mornings. We had two small issues which were sorted immediately. We would love to return.
