Nightmare experience

Best thing about this hotel was check in was quick Second was checking out In between was not good Room very dirty Used toilet roll reel behind open door obviously not close door to clean behind Windows not fully close Asked for bottle opener told not have But you can use the one on fridge in reception They display menu for food But when I ask in the evening was told it was afternoon menu only So I starved till next day I went for breakfast but was told I had to pay breakfast for me was not free although booking confirmation from you said free breakfast I felt ashamed and humiliated when told I have to pay in front of other guests As if I was a homeless person walked in off the street off the street it is very noisy here cockerels crowing at 5.15 am and staff hammering at 7.39am I would not recommend this hotel to anybody I now stay around the corner in Usouk hotel very modern flat screen tv and jacuzzi and breakfast included ( very nice)and only 1000 baht a night and very clean as apposed to 811 baht a night for a night mare of a experience at this hotel and no breakfast

Good little hotel with friendly staff

Enjoyed my 4-night stay here. Furniture and fixtures could use some updating but otherwise the property is clean and well-maintained. Simple but decent breakfast in the morning. The hotel is set back from the street making it fairly quiet.

蚊に悩まされた

ホテルはやや古びていましたが最低限のアメニティはそろっており、スタッフもラオスらしく素朴で親切でした。ただ室内に蚊がいっぱい飛んでいて全然眠れず。何とかしてほしいです。

전체적건물외관 이쁨. 물어보는건 잘알려주심. 방은 하루밤 자기에는 괜찮음. 조식괜찮음. 그러나 방비엥으로 가는 미니밴예약을 호텔에서 진행해줬는데 1인 10달러로.. 결국 내가 탄건 버스 ... 미니밴이 호텔로오지않고 뚝뚝이가 데릴러옴. 뚝뚝이타고 도착했는데 버스타라고함 ㅡㅡ 그 뚝뚝운전사한테 난 더 비싸게 지불하고 미니밴예약했다고하니까 그냥 웃음. 서로 실랑이하다가 어쩔수없이 버스타서 호텔에 메일보냈는데 호텔에서는 여행사에 확인했는데 나머지 돈 돌려주기로했다고 답장옴 ㅋ ....근데 return money 라고해놓고 그딴거없음 ㅋㅋ 그리고 호텔 답장엔 미안하다는 말이없음 ㅋㅋ 호텔에서 미니밴예약할경우 잘 확잉하시길~~

Enjoy all the areas close to the temples close.

The trip was excellent and the hotel in a good location for work location and for all the shopping and excellent restaurants close. We have extended our stay until the end of March due to my work scheduling change.

free shuttle bus to the airport

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. the only thing good i can think of is the free shuttle service to the airport. the location is so far away from the river(around 30 mins walk). The condition of the room is not good, the air conditioner was broken on the second night which i had to request for changing to the other room in the middle of the night. The choice of the breakfast was limited and i would rather go out and try local food. considering the cost of living in Laos and what this hotel can offer, it does not worth to stay here.

we came for one night stay. the room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. regarding with the location- the hotel is located far from the center. overall of your pupose is having only one night stay its great. if you also want to explore the city maybe consider different location.

Hidden Gem

Hidden off of the main road but great position for getting everywhere. Safe area, clean hotel, friendly staff, great for a couple of night's. Breakfast adequate but not a lot of choice for westerners as you have only one choice from the list but enough for me as small eater.

Short Stay hotel

The Lalco is a little far from the Centre and so you have to Walk 30 minutes to restaurants etc. The Local area is very quiet. However currently there is a large 40 story Construction site overlooking the hotel which is very noisy, starting at 8 am in the morning [ so no need for alarm clocks] The Rooms are large,clean and the TV has a number of English Channels. the bed is very hard. The Bathroom has a large Shower, but because it uses a dedicated water heater it is either scolding hot or freezing cold. despite asking this to be repairs or adjusted a number of times it remained a problem. The Staff are friendly and the Breakfast is good, if a little limited. There is ample parking at the hotel and taxis can be called from reception easily. Overall, it is a nice hotel, a little far from the centre, but great value for money but needs to sort out showers.

if you want to be cheated, go this hotel.

i've arraived at the hotel aroud 11:oo PM. in the hotel reception, one men worked . after check in, i ask him MINIVAN to go Vang Vieng. he said 30 dallors for two people. it was too expensive and strange price bacause i've already seaching the price though internet. so i ask him one more . he said "yes" , so i tried to find ohter information in front of him. after 3min, he said "oh i'm sorry it ' my mistake . it was wrong price. the real price is 20dollars for two " but this price also expensive. because other hotel and a travel agency usually sugeest 40,000~70,00kip. (5$~7$). i was really upset. because he tried to cheat and got the expensive price..and he said "if yo can't pay this money , find other agency" with very unpleasant expression. ... and came back my room, i tried to sleep, the dogs barking made bid nosie it was not once, at least 5 dogs barked during 3 hours. . so l cant seelp.

Large room, location and hospitality

The hotel is a bit old and more like a serviced apartment. But good thing is, unlike newer ones, room is quite large for the price. The location is closer to government office area than business district, but plenty of restaurants around. Hotel people have good hospitality and serve nice breakfast. If the hotel like to attract more Chinese tourist, the water flow of the shower should be stronger and hot water should be available anytime.

Great budget hotel

Great low-budget hotel within a somewhat long, but not too long walking distance from all the areas of interest in Vientiane. By the way do not rent a motorbike in the city, the cops are so corrupt and bribe greedy!

Enjoyable stay

Excellent American breakfast. Very helpful staff and they even speak fairly good English. The hotel has a fresh, clean look. It's located in a quiet, safe area and has its own parking lot. The tourist areas are within walking distance (1/2 - 1 mile), or you can take a taxi. I have tried other hotels in Vientiane within the same price range and Lalco AR is definitely the best so far. Will stay again.

Hidden Gem

I stayed here for one night. I stayed in a superior room. The hotel is clean. There is high quality tile throughout. The decor is Asian, but it has an almost Mediterranean feel. The room is big enough and probably larger than average. The bed was larger than a standard King. I don't know what size it was. The bed was a bit hard, which is normal for southeast Asia. TV included CNBC, which was nice. Many hotels don't have that channel. Plenty of english-speaking channels. Free WiFi and fast enough. There is a repeater on each floor. There is no lift. I was on the 3rd floor and I didn't consider it an issue. I think there are 6 floors. This may be something for you to consider. Breakfast was included with my stay. It was better than your average free hotel breakfast. It wasn't continental. I had eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, and coffee. Overall, a very nice hotel. A bit expensive compared to surrounding hotels, but it is very nice.

Bien placé pour la première nuit dans le pays.

Superservice de navette aéoport gratuite poir l'accueil. Bien placé pour un premier coup d'oeil à la ville. Service de bus pour Vang Vieng juste à côté.
