Historic Speak Easy Loft with Water Views in Downtown Vicksburg

  • River View Loft in Historic Downtown Vicksburg, Ms. This one of a kind Loft boasts over 1700 sq. ft. of original wide planked wood floors, brick walls and wood beam ceilings. It overlooks the Yazoo Diversion Canal to the West ( living area) and the east end (bedroom ) faces the Old Court House and Historic Downtown. This building dates back to the 1800's and was used as an old speakeasy in the roaring 20's. It features a huge private King Suit with custom headboard. Attached is a walk-in closet with laundry and on- suite bath with a large two- person jacuzzi tub with rain shower. The main living area is an open concept kitchen and living room with a guest bath which includes an old cast iron tub. We have tried to keep many of the originals features of this space while providing modern comforts. Please note that the loft is up two flights of stairs.

The loft was perfect. Loved the feeling of staying in an old speakeasy while learning about the historic town of Vicksburg. The loft was much bigger than expected, perfect for two old friends to reconnect.

It was beautiful and really cozy compared to home!! In a perfect little spot downtown super close to many different attractions and things to explore, my wife and I even caught their local Christmas parade!! The loft alone was beautiful and worth the stay! 100% coming back and rebooking in the future

Great views; easily accessible to downtown shopping, restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this property. The bed was comfortable, and the tubs and showers were great. All kitchen amenities were available. there are 2 flights of stairs to climb with luggage just FYI.

Very unique place!

Needed a halfway point on our trip home from Florida, great place to stay and chill. Rooftop bar across the street was awesome as well. Loved the exposed brick and ceilings.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We were honestly blown away of the beauty of this property. The owners are so kind and accomodating, and the property exceeded our expectations. We will be booking here for every future trip to Vicksburg. Everything you need is there, within walking distance to pretty much everything. Historically charming

This place was an amazing find. Exactly as listed and even more beautiful honestly. Can’t rave about it enough. If just feels like it’s full of history…like if these old walls could talk! The area was close to all the attractions of Vicksburg and felt very safe. Wonderful experience.

Fall getaway

My husband and I loved exploring historical Vicksburg. We enjoyed staying at this speakeasy. We loved the old wood floors and exposed brick. We loved the location downtown which was close to several good food options, shopping, and museums. I also was very impressed with how clean the property was. Thank you for letting us stay!
