Loved everything about the place. It worked well for us staying close to Colgate and casinos. We were in for football weekend of Syracuse vs Colgate. The only thing we would change is there is no TV channels We are a big college football family so wanted to watch games. We streamed games over our phones and projected to TV using WIFI but had trouble connecting.

Very cute home! Clean and well stocked with water, k-cups , tea, and cooking necessities. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Michael was quick with responses to any questions we had.

We stayed here from out of town during a very sad family event. My two reasons for booking this property was safety for my family, and cleanliness. It was 10/10 reviewed for both… so of course, We booked. I know things are never “perfectly” cleaned, however, the property was not cleaned or sanitized.. the host had it ready before check in which is appreciated but not at the expense of a proper cleaning.. I told him not to rush and if it was ready before check in, Great, but no rush. Missing fitted sheet in master bedroom, so we slept on the mattress cover, dirt on the walls from food and other things. Hairs left in the bathroom sink, bath tub has dirt on the walls, crumbs on the counter. Kitchen sponge used and old, kitchen sink was never cleaned, fridge and freezer and crumbs, vents super dusty, cob webs and I can keep going.. but the biggest safety concern was the DRYER! We left at in the morning with the dryer running on more dry, and it was still going when we got back 12 hours later… our clothes were ruined, lint was everywhere in the dryer, in lint trap and on clothes. When I told the host about this concern he acted like he KNEW, and said he needs to put a note on it for people to use a different setting.. I’m happy my family and I were not in the house when the dryer was running..

The property exceeding our expectations. Check in/out was stress free, the property was spotless, and the host provided everything you could possible need while away from home. Would highly recommend to anyone, and will stay there again if we need to stay in the area.

Awesome house to stay in. Very welcoming & super clean. Perfect kitchen to host in. The bedrooms were spacious. I would definitely rent this house again & suggest it to others.

Great choice

Very clean, well-maintained and equipped with everything. Window AC units kept the whole house cool. Loved the place and would stay there again. Just a warning for light sleepers: there is some road noise.

Wonderful

House was clean and inviting. Appreciated having all linens, even laundry soap and plenty of supplies. Loved having all coffee supplies including creamer on arrival. One of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Very helpful for weary travelers.

Perfect for what I needed

House was very nice. Clean. PLENTY of amenities. It was literally 3min down the road from the venue of my daughter's wedding. Almost exactly half way between my kids homes too. Was bitter cold most of the time we were there but didn't notice it at all inside the house. Would definitely stay again if the right circumstances arise. VERY happy with the whole experience.

My friends and I stayed for one night to attend a concert at a local casino. As soon as you walk in you could tell the owner took great care of the property! It was clean,organized and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely recommend to stay and we all wished we did stay longer!

Exactly what you need

Our stay was brief since it was for a wedding, but it was the perfect spot since it was only a few minutes from the venue. Vernon is a small place, so having something like this place available was cost effective, convenient, and pretty cozy!

Christmas Stay

We were celebrating Christmas with my family and needed an extra location to stay. The house was cozy and there was even a tree there to greet us. It was the first time our children spent Christmas away from out house, so the tree was appreciated!

Beautiful home in Vernon

We chose this house for our stay following a wedding at the Hayloft, and could not have been happier with the choice. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the owner Michael was fantastic to work with. We would absolutely choose this property again, and recommend to anyone staying in the area. Cheers
